Far Man Restaurant — Restaurant in Springfield

Well I have been going this place since I was 12. Twenty four years. Tonight was the worst night and I will not be going back!! Went there with my family. The night started off not good and got worse. We sat down the table was sticky and tacky to the touch. Asked the waitress about that . She had no reply. Ored hot tea and water for everyone. The tea I had there every single time I have gone has always been the same. Tonight everyone at the table agreed that the tea was off. I then immediately called the waitress. Old them wait we all were experiencing. Then asked for a new pot of tea. She then refused to bring a new pot made up and excuse of why it tasted different. I then said we can't drink this. Then only two plates of food came out out of seven people. Twenty mins later the rest came out !! Had two issues with one of our orders a appetizer and a main dish. One was under cooked and one tasted horribly off. They only were willing to take one item off the bill. Even though both were completely uneditable. Each time I had to call the waitress over she would then roll her eyes, argue and talk shit as she walked away three people from our table heard her do som so as everyone else was done eating I then asked the other waitress who didn't want to help if I can talk to the manager. So after ten minutes later the same waitress we had came over and said what's the problem. I began to tell her. And ven said her attitude is part of the problem. Told her how long I have been coming here and said I will not be back. Especially since I couldn't talk with a manager and how we were all treated including our three kids. Worst experience ever!! Please save your money and go somewhere else. This is not the spot to waist money and get shitty...

I called this restaurant to inquire about what comes in their curry chicken. Simple request, required a simple response. I was told, "green onions, red peppers, green peppers." I specifically confirmed with the lady on the phone, "no mushrooms or carrots or anything else?" She said nope.

I thought, okay, simple. I like all those things, let's get it... get home with my order and find that there are also, mushrooms, celery, carrots, yellow onions, some squash or avocado-like veggie that I'm not familiar with, water chestnuts, looked like some leafy green like spinach or maybe the leaf of one of the other veggies in the mix, I can't be sure. Suffice it to say, I made a simple inquiry, and I was met with a bold faced lie. The majority of those things I don't like. And as a result I would have asked them to leave them out of the dish. Simple request, simple process. But rather than be honest, they lied.

ON TOP OF THAT there was less than an ounce of chicken in the whole meal, maybe 2 bites. At most the equivalent of the meat you could find on a small drumstick.

Let's remember that the dish is called curry CHICKEN. The main focus of the dish is the curry sauce, and the CHICKEN. There was no chicken to speak of... 95% of the food was veggies, and about 80% of the entire dish was the stuff they lied about being in it.

This establishment is dishonest, shady, cheapskates and with regard to this dish specifically, very overpriced. I will not eat here again, and I will not recommend anyone else...

As a food delivery driver I had a bad experience with a staff member from that restaurant . The employee is in her 30’s blonde hair and a chubby ( I didn’t get her name) she was rude to me. When I arrived to the place I told her that I have a pick up delivery for a costumer. I proceeded to show her on my phone, the application and the name of the costumer. She told me to wait for few minutes. Later when the order was ready she came and asked me again to show her the name and to press confirmed delivery in front of her. I told her I will do it, to not worry as soon as I get the food and put it inside my bag I will click the delivery button. She was rude, persistent and mean saying she will not be giving me my delivery if I don’t press the button. Again I repeated myself saying, this is my job I know how to do it. To not make the story longer she didn’t gave me my order and I had to call costumer service and explain the situation. Because of her I lost my time and part of my paycheck. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t make other delivery drivers to do the same thing she was asking me to do. I felt offended and racially targeted as a person of color because I have been working in this industry for long time and nobody has refused to give me the costumer order before. I have been picking up other orders in that location before and nobody has asked me to do that before. I want the manager to see this review because she can not demand me or other people to do their jobs the way she wants...
