Best Coast Wings coasting to the Finish
TL;DR: Just go to Buffalo Wild Wings
I didn't have high hopes when I hopped on my cell phone to order a late dinner (order placed at 9:30pm), but I was still somehow disappointed. My food arrived later than expected, mostly at the fault of the restaurant. The first driver arrived on time, but couldn't stay for the long wait, as the food hadn't actually been prepared. It's a tough time in the restaurant industry, but pushing over capacity at the cost of quality isn't going to gain you any customers.
|The Food| I ordered the fries, onion rings, and 15 dry-rub wings. Now, soggy fries is hardly unexpected: transit is notoriously hard on fried food. However, this doesn't excuse the extremely inconsistent seasoning of the wings that had me reaching for water every 3rd bite. For some, it was like drowning in a salt flat; for the rest, their potentially adequate flavor was lost in the salty dredges of their brethren. The onions rings themselves were quite good: nothing special, but what you would expect for a solid pub ring with breadcrumb. But that didn't make them faultless. The problem with the rings was the packaging: that the rings had been violently tossed directly from a frier and straight into a box was evident from the lack of a single fully intact battered onion ring.
|In Short| At a price point similar to buffalo wing wings, I would rather risk receiving the wrong order, than repeating this exercise in sodium-fueled...
Read moreI’ve never written a review before but this food was so awful I felt inclined to add to the numerous other 1 stars. Not only we’re the wings boiled and slightly off smelling there was a long blonde hair wrapped up in them. The fries were soggy and had seasoning dumped in one pile, the ranch (that I had to pay extra for) was in a melted container with the lid half way melted into it Almost as if they left if sitting under the warmer for way too long, the only somewhat decent thing was the peach lemonade and even then there was a thick nasty layer of syrup on the bottom. Don’t order from this place Buffalo Wild Wings is worth the extra...
Read moreThis place is absolutely horrendous. Like the absolute worst. I didn't read reviews first which was the worst mistake. The "teriyaki" wings were boiled with some watery liquid on them. The barbeque wings were bottled barbecue over boiled wings, with what looked like a feather or piece of hair on it. The shrimp was mediocre at best, clearly off brand frozen shrimp with no seasoning or anything whatsoever, and some multiple day old carrots and celery on the side. For over 30$ I expected something to...
