$18.00 for a micro steak and flavor less shrimp, and, ring the bell for the second most expensive menu item, no salad bar. Are you freaking serious. Not cool, not cool at all. Disappointment level 100 :-(
EDIT: April 12th, 2019 (Increased too 2 stars. :-)
Thank you for responding "Sizzler Marketing Department". my policy is to raise one star for that alone and I have, so many businesses don't care enough about their customer base to engage in dialog that might be detrimental. My second policy when Management responds is to clarify the unfortunate rating with additional detail too more closely explain, which is as follows.
The Postal Way location did not essentially get this rating, but Corporate doctrine did, in fact, the service was very fast, there was zero wait to find a table, (two of us dining) and our Server was Aces and stayed on top of beverages. the fall down was basic math, one person got a crispy shrimp (1/3rd Lb tops), side (Baker) and salad bar/Dessert cup for $15.00 the other got the steak (looked like 4 oz. and was prepared perfectly as requested) side (Baker) and AYCE crispy shrimp for $18.00. See the math, there would not have been much stretch to go too include the salad bar. so when asked, I was quoted an additional $5.00 to add it to my meal, so that's $23.00 total. seriously, even at a 30% food cost (you are running about 20% tops is my guess) that is way out of line for your category. which forces my next choice if the event arises to compare you to the closest steakhouse/roadhouse/outback and what have you. if it is Sizzlers desire to compete in that market and justify a $23.00 meal, well time to severely step up that game. IMO you do not have to do that, but you need to be realistic for the channel you are playing in. which is not the $23.00 (Plus Beverage) zone, make no mistake, when I pay $15.00 (the absolute most you should be charging for your category "including salad-bar") for a complete dinner at a Sizzler, I don't expect anything fancy, just clean, fresh reasonable wholesome grub and a simple salad bar to fill up any loose ends (From small steaks and entree's) you have a hometown buffet with a complete salad bar, grill and bakery 1,000 feet away with a $14.00 price-point. see the math?? so next time I am in the budget to spend $30/40.00 for dinner for 2 what do you think will influence my next choice? well value...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT GO! It's been a a significant amount of time since I've even been to a sizzler, but I will never go back to this location. Our experience started as we ordered the lunch buffet. Horrible mistake we should have just stopped at some fast food. Upon paying for our meal and locating a place to sit. We immediately set our belongings down and anxiously rushed to the bufffet to grab food. To our surprise there were 3-4 options really to choose from other than salad. Even the salad bar was extremely limited. The lettuce was wilted nothing was labeled and it was a complete mess. No tomatoes, carrots very disappointing and not one of the dressing options was even identifiable.. Moving on to see that the other options were we discovered that the"hot" food bar consisted of Luke warm nacho cheese and stale corn chips alongside a mysterious meat that appeared to be extremely dead as a gas station deep fried burrito that sat for 5 hours under the heat lamp would be more appealing. I just grabbed some chips and cheese and went to take take my seat. Upon sitting back down at a table we choose, so while i was waiting for others in out group to come back, the waitress brought back a large group for what appeared to be a birthday celebration. As she started to seat them they glance In my direction and the waitress looks back at me and then attempts to discreetly say don't worry ill move her. I was stunned and immediately appalled by this. So I get up and gather my belongings and the waitress turns around and says oh don't worry I'll move your stuff for you.. I was speechless. We left about 10 minutes after.
So if you value any sort of customer service or want quality food then just continue to drive right on past...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been eating at this Sizzler for years but only about 2x a year when we travel through the area. I love Sizzler. We eat the Senior Salad Bar. Our experience changed today. The management has changed the way the restaurant is tended to. The salad bar was over 1/2 empty of items. ( the favorite dressing RANCH empty). Only Iceberg lettuce (limp lettuce). The little bit of RANCH dressing I did scrape out didnāt taste correct. The chicken wings empty. I got 3 my husband got 0. The pineapple bowl was empty. There was 2 small squares of lime jello. Then when I said done trying to find something to eat so went for desert. Pulled the handle on the ice cream machine and got a bowl of milk. 5:00PM is prime senior dinner dining time. This is crazy. We will be here in the area for a few days and will have to rethink returning to Sizzler this trip through. I didnāt say anything to our waiter who was wonderful. He had to wait on almost everyone in the whole place. You could see him walking very quickly because he had so much to do and no time to get it done. Crazy. He was the best part of this dinner. He was a pleasure to...
