Godfather's Pizza — Restaurant in Springfield

Passing thru Springfield and pulled over because we saw a sign for Godfather's pizza from the highway. There are none in Kansas City, so was excited to see one, especially a sit-down location.

Food was hot and fresh. Quality superb. Big salad bar. One of us had cheese pizza and the other gluten-free pizza. BEST PIZZA WE'VE HAD IN YEARS!

Had a great conversation with the franchise owner, Mike Sidwell. He is very down-to-earth, intriguing, and passionate about his business. He cares a lot about his employees and it shows. Always happy to meet other business owners, especially in the food business.

The space looks amazing and has a large party room, which would be great for any private party.

If you haven't been to this location yet, you are missing out. Stop by and support! Especially since he's a local owner and cares a lot about the community.

This place was delicious! It was a very clean facility. Their personnel was friendly, but not so friendly your large group gets interrupted every 15-20 minutes. The food was so fresh we had to blow on it to cool it....just like when Mama serves fresh off the stove. The only complaint I really had, and its not much of one, was because some people had an item that looked absolutely delicious and I wanted to try it but there wasn't any left. When I asked kitchen personnel about making more if possible, they said that item was just placed in the oven (twisted cheese stuffed bread sticks). I've been looking for a sit down and eat Godfather's Pizza, not a convenience store version, for years and found one in Springfield,MO. I had my first Godfather's probably 55 years ago and this place took me back to that time. The salad bar is smaller but all of the ingredients were fresh and the Ranch dressing was fantastic. We got a Classic Combination pizza and a Pepperoni/Sausage one as well. We also got two mini-pizzas for our youngest grandsons. All three of the youngsters with us, who had never had Godfather's, loved it. The pizzas all came out quickly, hot and with that fantastic Godfather's flavor.
