Ordered delivery. Arrived cold and late. Let's not focus on that part though. The flavors are weird and not traditional. Chips don't seem to be made in house. Salsa and refried beans are very thin and flavorless. The chicken was so dry you couldn't chew it. Parsley was in everything. I want cilantro in my Mexican food- not Italian restaurant levels of parsley. Speaking of Italian - that's what inspires their red sauce. Terrible. The ground beef was over seasoned in some bites and flavorless in others. The guacamole had a very strong bell pepper flavor... And parsley. The best things were the rice and cheese sauce... Which I can get anywhere. Being located so close to one of the best Mexican restaurants in Springfield, you think they would try harder. I happened to get a judgemental/rude server. She didn't actually say anything unkind word-wise, but her facial expressions and attitude made it clear she perhaps thought less of me for choosing to come in and eat alone, or maybe she was having a bad day, I am not sure. She was a woman with brown hair. Other than her, the atmosphere was great with dark moody lighting, and all the other staff I met were very kind. A woman who wasn't even my server topped off my chips, and the gentleman who showed me to my table was welcoming and friendly.

The whole vibe of the place is fresh and welcoming, and the food and drinks totally blew us away. Our server, Benito, was AMAZING. He was so friendly, helpful, and polite — he made sure we were taken care of the entire time.

I ordered the pineapple coconut margarita, and WOW… it was seriously one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had. Easily the best margarita in Springfield! Huge shoutout to the bartender, Will, for that one!
