i dont normally post reviews but felt todays experience needed to be known. I go to the scooters in nixa and the one on campbell quite a bit, im a hospice nurse so i drive all over. i dont normally have a bad experience and i prefer the drinks over starbucks. however I went to the one on campbell today around 10am. i ordered a medium caramalicious blender. when i got to the window nobody even looked at me, so i sat for a bit and listened to them talk about vinyl or something. when she finally came to the window she just said the price, no greeting or anything and the price was almost 8.00. for a medium blender? i asked her and said i thought the medium was around 5.00 and her response was "our prices go up randomly" uh...ok. since when? i paid it anyway and when i tasted my drink it was awful. it tasted burnt. ive never had a bad drink from scooters, but i couldnt even finish it. so not only did i pay more for what i got, i wasted that money on something i couldnt even drink. I hope nobody else has an experience like this and i guess ill go to nixa only...
Read moreGal at the drive thru made me very uncomfortable trying to get me to buy everything on the menu. I ordered a small smoothie and she tried to get me to add multiple things to it and then asked if I wanted a large. I’m not sure why I’d want a large if I asked for a small from the get go, it’s very pushy and bad for business in my opinion and this is the culture the last few times I’ve even back for a small smoothie. When I got up to the window I was grilled with personal questions and I find it inappropriate, I don’t want to tell every random barista where my job is. Overall the final straw for me. I quit going because of the quality of the coffee and it’s much better to spend local. But when a chain tries to squeeze an extra 10-12 dollars out of you that hard it’s a big deterrent. Won’t be back even for...
Read moreI had never tried Scooters before, but heard they had cinnamon rolls, which I love! My family was visiting over the holidays and we decided to try them. The person working that day raved over their cinnamon rolls, so I was really excited, until I bit into one. The icing is your typical cream cheese and not bad, but not that great. The bread to cinnamon ratio is not good. I was hoping for ribbons of cinnamon where I could taste it with every bite. I'm sad to say it was very disappointing. I went back again to give them one more shot and it confirmed it for me. You are better off going to cinnabon for cinnamon rolls. I will say the staff is super friendly and I'm sure their coffee and other...
