I visited my local sonic last night and was very displeased in my experience, I placed a order online and it was expected to be ready around 8:28pm I arrived a couple minutes early but didn’t even receive my food til 8:42pm. A employee came outside and immediately said “sorry man this is my first night” I responded with “you are doing great no worries” he responded with “no I’m not I’m doing absolutely terrible” I was surprised by this answer cause I was trying to make him not feel overwhelmed since I could tell they were understaffed. He handed me items and an additional drink I didn’t order and I let him know it wasn’t mine. “Well you get a free drink tonight” he said and then walked away without offering to take it back. My food was cold when I opened the bag before leaving I notice none of the condiments were in the bag either. I gave the store a call and let them know, I got a response from what I believe was a manger that huffed and said “I guess, have it right out” I was very surprised that I was given a response like that. The same dude walked out gave me a huge handful of condiments and I tried giving the drink back and he said it was a free drink but I told him again that I didn’t want the drink since I never asked for it. I noticed the drive thru was moving at a fast pace got there food before I did didn’t understand why I had to wait so long for cold food. Read moreI placed an order through the mobile app. It wasn't working so went to the red button, the worker was very kind (Victoria) and was determined to figure out a solution and if not I would have to call the app and go through it that way, which she knew would be harder. A woman came out to verify the coupon I wanted to use and placed my order. As I was about to leave a different woman (Hannah) came out and asked to verify my coupon again. I told her that was fine but that a manager had already come out and verified it. She said well im the manager so you need to show it to me. Before she would give me my food I had already paid for. She then went on to argue with me about how I should have called the app. I explained I didn't know what to do thats why I came to talk to them in the first place and if that was an issue she should talk to her employees instead of being rude to me. She continue to argue so I thanked her and left. I had a good experience until I met her, Hannah. On top of all of that I got the wrong order. And none of the sauces I asked for. The only thing right about my meal was one of my drinks.
I wouldn't have even been mad about this issue if it hadn't been for the rude and distasteful manager, Hannah, it was a complicated situation and mistakes happen. Read moreOn July 19, 2023, I ordered an All American Hot Dog without ketchup. I got home & there was ketchup on it. I called & talked to G. He said my name would be written down. I could come back & get it. I went to get my replacement & order food on July 22, 2023. Because G was not there to confirm it & my name wasn't written down. C refused to replace it. It seemed like he knew it wouldn't be written down. He seemed uncomfortable, bored & unsympathetic. This isn't the first time I had a replacement order. The management has been rude about not replacing the orders before & I think they purposely don't write the customer name down so they can't give replacement orders. I don't eat ketchup on my hot dogs & how am I supposed to know when G is gonna be in. I also didn't order any food because of the way I was treated.
The July 8, 2023 order I had from there was cold. I called & gave them my name. When I went there for the replacement & to order, I talked to someone on the intercom. He said he was gonna look for my name. I waited for a while, then pushed the button again. They lied to me & said no one had just talked to me. I had to try to remember the manager's name I talked on the phone with. I also had to have a receipt. I had proof on the app that I ordered. I don't understand why I couldn't show my receipt & give the manager 's name this time, but I could last time.
