Vino Cellars — Restaurant in Springfield

Vino Cellars has become my new favorite place for date night. This past Saturday my boyfriend and I decided to try out Vino Cellars instead of the regular down town bar scene. When arriving, we were pleasantly surprised to find a spacious, plush lounge. We enjoyed two glasses of wine, gorgonzola & bacon dip, which my husband is in love with, and a cheese board. After snacking all night, we got a piece of their amazing cheesecake. It was to die for.

Had an event at this establishment. It had been prearranged that the hostess was purchasing several bottles of wine and then would be allowed to take whatever was left after the party out the door. Once the event was over the very rude manager informed us that it was against the law, which it isn't, to take opened bottles out of the business to transport them home. She wanted us to leave 6 nearly full or half full bottles stating again it's against the law. It may go against their liquor license but it is NOT against the law. Overall great experience

Price: 8/10 comparable to other places with a similar experience Atmosphere: 9/10 - live music Quality: 6/10 all food was easy to microwave/toast type things. Wine: 9/10 great options and quality Customer service: 4/10 the wait for appetizers was long and the the waiter was friendly but slow. Additionally, he failed on some of the finer points of wine service such as fresh glasses when switching wines.
