You're at an airport, so expect to pay a lot, but the food is lacking. Also the restaurant is located in terminal C.

First I ordered the wheat beer(heff) that was cold enough, weirdly sweet, but okay. After a little time sitting I noticed that the bar back was pouring the beer with excessive head, then used a second cup to pour into the serving glass. Either there's something wrong with the lines or the bar keeper doesn't know how to pour a beer. Almost $11 for a sub par beer and pour.

Then I ordered from the burger and sandwich menu. The first item sounded good, the cajun turkey sandwich. Weirdly, everything in the burger menu has something spicy added, and I wasn't feeling spicy today. The sandwich comes out and looks a little.....flat. It was on a burger bun and all I see is cheese and bacon. I open it up and find that the turkey is thin sliced deli meat that's been grilled and not carved turkey. The tater tots came out piping hot and was the high point of the entire experience.

For $30 I expect something better. But these days thirty bucks...

We had a disappointing experience at Schlafly. We were hoping for a better dining experience than fast food, but we were let down. To order, we had to use a QR code, which was a bit of a hassle to get working. When we needed help, the server was nowhere to be found. It took us fifteen minutes to get our drinks, and they were mixed up.

After 30 minutes, our food arrived, but it didn't live up to what was promised on the menu. The chicken wings were overcooked and heavily breaded, and the subpar waffles. The glaze was just prepackaged breakfast syrup. To top it off, our appetizer came out with our main meal, and everything was cold. Overall, it was overpriced and...

If I could have given 0 stars I would have. It takes a lot of nerve to serve people a frozen chicken patty that has been microwaved into oblivion not to mention absolutely no seasonings. Not only was it completely disgusting it was $13. I expected the price since its an airport but to allow that type of garbage to come out of your kitchen is appalling. The manager needs to be fired. There was less than 5 people in the restaurant and the time so there isn't much excuse. I will definitely avoid this dump in the future....

Schlafly is a mainstay of St. Louis, so when flying out of Lambert Airport I usually dine here. There are a few other dining options at Terminal C and they're all what you would expect for airport dining. The menu here has changed over the years, but I am always able to find something that sounds tasty. I tried the Cajun Turkey Sandwich with fries and it was really good. The service was quick and the server was super nice. I will continue to dine here, when flying out of Lambert. The prices are fair and the food is consistent.

Apparently, St. Louis has 50+ breweries, but on a 48-hour, there-for-a-wedding weekend, we only hit three. For obvious reasons, this was one was last. This brewery claims to be the OG in St. Louis and gets lots of (well-deserved) hype. This is not probably their strongest location (it is an airport, after all), but the beers were solid, and the food was (especially by airport standards) delicious and reasonably-priced. If you are flying out of Terminal 1, stop by for a cold one and some Taphouse Fries!
