I hate leaving negative reviews. I fully understand that nearly everyone in food & beverage is having a staffing shortage, but I don't understand why one person is made to carry the front of house.
We seated ourselves at the bar bc there was no one willing to seat us. We waited about 10-15 minutes to be greeted bc the poor bartender was handling all of the seated bar guests, the to-go station, AND making mixed drinks/beers for the other servers. No one was helping him which was a shame.
We ordered & I specified that I absolutely cannot have pickles on my burger due to a severe dill allergy. I stated this twice because I really didn't want to miss my flight in favor of a trip to the emergency room. Then we waited. And waited. And after 45 minutes, we asked to have our order packed to go so we could make the boarding of our flight.
10 minutes later, our food arrived. Everything else related to veg was missing from my burger except for a load of pickles. I alerted the bartender & he ran off with my food to the kitchen, only to be met with laughter. At that point, we just decided to bail. We waited over an hour & have just boarded a 2 hour flight on empty stomachs. I honestly don't understand how any place could be so flippant about allergies. And I really hope they find that bartender some help. I definitely won't visit again the next time I fly through...
Read moreThis place is terribly managed, it takes a lot for me to leave a bad review. This place has recipes all over the place bar bar top, floors behind the bar and dining room floors. It was clear no one was clearing dishes or the remnants of past customers. The beer was way over carbonated. I saw multiple people frustrated with how long it was taking for service just to close out even when it wasn't very busy. I saw a customer get up with their receipt to go to the front desk line cause it was taking so long - just to be chased by his server who finally decided to care. The head bartender Anthony was a mess and his ship was a mess. He was passive aggressive to customers who didn't want a drink other than water "what will you have to drink?.... Water. You don't want a drink? No is it a requirement?" How unwelcoming and uncomfortable is that? I saw multiple people wait online for beer to go that eventually left due to how long it was taking to get service and the fact that the bartender frequently abandoned the bar for extended periods of time. The food is mediocre at best. If owned or was responsible for this place I would be highly concerned. Both of our meals came with things not on the menu so we did not eat because we are allergic to the added ingredients. We pointed it out to Ashley and the manager. The manager didn't think we were telling the truth eventhough she could see it on the plate. She offered a 15% discount. This is absolutely the most idiotic thing I have ever seen. What restaurant messes up that bad and doesn't offer a replacement or just takes it off the bill????We ended up having to pay nearly $30 for food that we didn't eat and would have killed us.
On a side note, the manager thinks avocado is the same thing as guacamole. We had to explain to her that avocados are in guacamole but they are not the same. She told us we were lying about that as well. I asked if there were avocados on their own as the menu Statesb but she kept going on about how we were lying about the differences between between guacamole and avocado.
