If you are looking for rich delicious gluten free donuts or pastries this is your place to try. Very unique take on a variety of flavors. Plus you can customize an order online and pick it up the next day which is a wonderful addition. I'd prefer this place over any mediocre franchise that makes donuts. I would suggest this place for anyone who is gluten free and has a sweet tooth.

That being said I came in on a quiet weekday morning that seemed to be an off day for both women behind the counter and I could feel things were off. Being my first time there my face did not look confused enough being unsure what to order, I got a 'hello, what can I get you?' The possible owner saw my confusion gave me a printed menu, suggested the donuts I was looking at and I was on my way. I'm all for the independently owned biz. What should make them stand out is the warmth, welcoming and cordial 1st words. Even the questions they train staff makes a difference. 'what can I get started for you?'... 'coffee?...donuts of the day are...' 'if this is your first time here we do 'x' and 'y' and they are delicious, which many customers enjoy' Like I mentioned, I came in on an off...

Food was delicious, hot, and fresh. Cinnamon cake is addictive as well as the apple Cinnamon cake so flavorful. Morning ride sandwich was fresh and hit the spot for the breakfast at noon craving. Next time i will try it with the croissant or bagel. Housemade Cheese bread was very good but I had a different expectation of what it was going to be. Breakfast burrito was spot on incredibly tasty! I will get this on my nect visit guarantee...The hash browns and eggs inside were prefect. Truth be told the turkey deli meat was a little disappointing, we were thinking a turkey bacon or at least real turkey chucks/shreds would have suited it better. Love the quaint relaxed atmosphere. Clean sophisticated yet relatable to all people. Especially loved the kids sitting area...coloring pages would have been a bonus while we waited for food. Beautiful restaurant, amazing friendly employees and pleasant smiling service that shows they really love what they do. It felt homey and heartfelt. Thank you for a...

Super warm and welcoming staff and ownership! The business has a very warm and inviting atmosphere as well. This was our first time visiting. Typically, I would have given a five star review for this experience, but the prices are keeping it a 4 star review. The food was very good, but $2.50 for a very small donut just seems excessive. The donuts were good, but in the VERY RICH and SWEET category. Great if that’s what you are looking for, but the three of us had a tough time eating more than one, even though they are half the size of a regular donut. We likened them to a “Crumble” cookie vs. a normal cookie…typically you aren’t eating more than one at a time (if you can even eat a whole one at one sitting). The donuts were very fresh and very moist and a good selection of flavors. The breakfast burrito (w/brisket) was excellent!!! Definitely worth a return...

🍩Brown Butter Cafe & Bakery ✨ Located along the fox river in St. Charles, IL you will find this gluten free bakery where you can get delicious treats that are gluten free, nut free and soy free. @Brown Butter Bakery It’s a place where everyone can enjoy a sweet treat whether you have a food allergy or you just enjoy a gluten free option. Its not just sweet treats they have, you can order breakfast and lunch options like a breakfast burrito, avocado toast, a turkey bacon club wrap, and a quinoa salad. For drinks they coffee drinks, fountain drinks, protein shakes and smoothies and they even have a special kids menu. We tried the blueberry muffin, coffee cake donut, chocolate donut and their OG and a brown butter iced latte. 🎟️Latte starting at $5, gluten free donuts starting at $2.50, blueberry muffin $4.50 ⏰Tuesday-Saturday: 7am-3pm Sunday-Monday: Closed 📍311 N Second St. Suite 104 St, Charles, IL 60174 #chicagosuburbs #chicagoland #chicagofoodguide #chicagofoodie #glutenfreebaking #foodreviews Food in St. Charles Illinois, gluten free cafe
