FAMILY BBQ with the kids & grands this Saturday means a quick run to Kabobs Pita Factory to get everything - added more photos of today’s run
Don’t sleep on this small Greek grocer opened right next to (East) of his restaurant (Just Kabobs) that’s been popular since opening in 2009! The homemade pita making industrial device covers pretty much the entire front of this grocer making it look like they are still in the build stage lol
Update - 7/14/25 - while pondering the many various truly Greek sheep’s milk feta in the 2 back coolers - a Greek only speaking man and his grandson came in the store and made a bee-line straight for the dry mitzithhra cheese. I asked them what it was & the grandson said like a Greek version of Parmesan cheese. I grabbed one too.
I then asked them kindly if they could point me to the best feta in the two coolers - so many truly sheep’s milk Greek options - but the moment he saw the Olympus brand one - he didn’t hesitate that was the one ! So into my basket went that Feta as well.
Was my first time stopping by to investigate what was carried in the store - I picked up a few new to me items & a couple of well known items from having grabbed carryout from their restaurant for past 11 years.
I took a few sample photos but realized I completely missed getting a photo of the fresh pitas they make - there are 2 sizes and both regular & wheat.
There’s an interesting quality of some items I did not at all anticipate coming across - eg the Orca Bay ahi tuna & sockeye salmon.
So many (6-8 or so) choices for feta - with multiple of them sheep’s milk made in Greece.
They carry tubs of their restaurant tzatziki - spicey feta - hummus and a 4th option.
Very nice selection of quite a few different kinds of fish
One thing in particular which I found FUN was a key lime pie made from a place on Marathon Key - I should have asked the owners (they were both in the store at the time) if it’s a favorite of theirs from...

Kebabs Pita is a new Greek grocer in town, and I’m so glad I stopped in. From the outside, it almost looks like it’s not open because there’s a big piece of equipment in the front window — turns out, it’s a pita machine! They’re making fresh pitas in-house, and they’re absolutely incredible.
The staff is warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. The shelves are stocked with high-quality, authentic products—and the best part? The prices are extremely affordable. You’re getting fresh, flavorful food without the markup. Whether you’re stocking your pantry or grabbing a quick bite, this spot is a must-visit....
