R HOUSE — Restaurant in St. Charles

I was hired to work Wednesday 06/01 - Saturday 06/04. I was supposed to be training Wednesday-Thursday 4-close and the manager was under the impression I was a experience bartender when I told her I worked at a high pace bar/night club in st. Charles (that closed due to something private). I also let her know I have a second job that I worked for once in a blue moon and if I had to get days off I would let them know 2 WEEKS AHEAD. I worked all day Wednesday under the impression I was going to get paid for training ( due to every job PAYS training) which I DID NOT GET PAID AT ALL, ALL I DID WAS FREE LABOR. and the manager kept saying she would want me to work this week so I can get the hang of the signature cocktails they have. All to come and find out they didn’t need me. Mind you the bar was super empty Wednesday so I barley got any training I was able to only memorize the drinks/ bar area and somewhat clean since everything was sticky. Come to find out when I woke up this morning she didn’t need me due to my poor “experience” and to keep going on with my career.

I’m more upset that I wasted my time to some free labor on Wednesday and didn’t let me at least work a week to see if I was a good fit or not. I’m definitely not coming back or recommending this place to...

Rudy’s has a $25 authorization charge that they do not make you aware of, they managed to charge me this 2x on my debit card, taking $50 out of my account on a $15 tab. I called the number on the receipt Saturday AM and it is a personal cell phone where the guy says he’ll pass the message along. They did not get back to me until 7:50 Saturday night, stating I’ll see the money back next business today. Today is Monday and I still do not have my funds that they forcefully took from my account without my knowledge. I called the number on the receipt again and was sent to voicemail. I was given no sincere apology or explanation as to why this happened. 2 stars for the fun times I have had at Rudy’s, R House and The Beach Hut, but this whole experience makes me hesitant to go back if this is how the owners treat customers when an issue arises. BLONDE GIRL W CHEST TATTOO was rude to our group when we did not have her as our bartender. We had a gentleman serving us our shots to which, he gave us our receipt and we put our total and gave it to him. the girl then grabbed a receipt by us and saw it , and said we are “bogus” out loud because “we didn’t tip her” when she was not our bartender/was not our receipt. I thought it was over then , but then later on, someone else from our group orders shots and she says” i cannot serve you because your group didn’t tip” again, not even asking if it was our receipt just assuming and again saying it out loud for us to hear. This was my first time here at this bar , loved the atmosphere and drinks were a 10/10 but to be treated like that when that ticket has nothing to do with us is crazy. She is very lucky no one...
