Our group of 4 have never been to rox city grill but wanted to try the restaurant and check out the hotel.
Called Friday 7/26/19 @ 410pm was told restaurant hostess was busy but they would call me back. At 4:58pm rox city grill returned our call to make reservations for 4 people at 430pm. I said great this was for a birthday.
Our party of 4 show up and restaurant was empty, we see bartender and were like we have 430 reservations..he says that's strange as we dont open till 530....I'm like what,I just spoke to hostess yesterday and asked if we could make reservations for 4 people, she said yes no problem. So bartender finds hostess and I'm like what's going on here,i just spoke to you yesterday at 5pm and asked you if we could make reservations, you said yes...she then shudders and stumbles only to say oh oh I thought you wanted to reserve a table for drinks?? I was furious, this is for a birthday I said, who makes reservations for drinks at 430pm. Seriously. No apologies nothing. We took our business across street to Zaza Italian and they were very accommodating with no reservations.
Very disappointing, and to not...

This was also accompanied by 4 pcs. withered and woody asparagus that had much to be desired. Only the server staff and atmosphere gets any stars. By the way, who's the genius who decided salt and pepper shakers are not needed? Not a...

We came on a Saturday night around 930pm. It wasn't too crowded . The server brought us a drink menu but not a good menu. Not sure when the kitchen closes.
They had a piano player the night we went but he took a break at 945pm and didn't start playing again till after 1030pm. This was disappointing.
Drinks were very good and not over priced.
