This review comes from someone who swore that Pizza Hut was one the Greatest Pizza chains in the U.S. I can't even begin to express my disappointment about this location in general. Through years of just being devoted to having a favorite place to order from has left me with sour taste in my mouth at the sound of ordering from Pizza Hut.
This review isn't for just one order but all the orders in the past 2 years. For some reason every time I order I'm either missing something from my order or given something completely different. Just to recount my last order I ordered their famous Pan Pizza, and I got an under cooked stuff crust. While some might think that is a win. I don't. Pizza Hut is renowned for their Pan Pizza and that is exactly what I wanted. So, when I realized that I didn't get it. I called to see what can be done to make up for it. The phone rang for a long time just to be answered with a very irritated person on the other end. I didn't get the standard greeting "Thank for calling Pizza Hut" and so forth. I got someone who sounded like they didn't want to work and answered the complaint line. When I told them what happened that I did not get a Pan super supreme. The person on the other line replied with; "What do you want to do about it?" I was hoping to be given options like can I get my money back and apology or something. So I tell her that I suppose I'd like it remade and I guess we'll pick it up. Which they obliged and quickly wanted to get off the phone without even asking me what was on the pizza. Just rushing to get off the phone. Completely ruining our night to stay in and order what we thought was going to be a great pizza night. Then we get there my wife goes in and my wife and I made a mistake. We didn't look at the pizza. It wasn't even cut when we got home. Mind you we're now returning home to a cold dinner that was already dropped off. Just for us to go get the correct pie. I digresss and I try to enjoy it.
As I'm eating the pizza was sub par but mind you the crust was everything I'd expected it to be. It hits me I don't like their pizza any more I've been craving this crust and putting up with bad pizza just for a great crust. So I continue to try to enjoy my meal just to go hard on the bread sticks which is essentially a pan crust without the hassle of nasty pizza.
It saddened me to come to the realization that I've put up with horrible service for years and had food just for a single item that just doesn't sate my appetite anymore. My wife was always warning me about it and it hit me hard having to deal with people that don't like their jobs and having customers that work hard for their money just get subpar food get the bad end of the stick. So I withdraw my support for this Pizza Hut. I hope it's just this one location and I hope that a Pizza Hut someone where reignites fire for what was once a...
Read moreMy family and I went to Pizza Hut yesterday to celebrate my dad’s birthday. When the guy took my order, I told him about my food allergies, and he wrote them down. When my pizza came, it had red sauce on it (which I’m allergic too), and had to take some Benadryl. The guy said, “it’s tomato sauce.” It doesn’t matter, tomato sauce has an ingredient in it that I’m allergic to. They made my pizza again, this time with the correct sauce, and the first pizza was “on the house”, which I was relieved, but it did concern my family that they brought out the pizza that could put my life in danger. Luckily my family knows about my food allergies, and know what precautions to take if something did happen. My mom spoke to the cook about what happened, and told them that this shouldn’t have happened to begin with, even after the waiter wrote down my food allergy, and I specifically told them that I wanted the white sauce because I’m allergic to the red sauce. My 5-year-old second cousin was scared because I was having an allergic reaction to something I ate. She kept on asking my family if I was “ok” and that she was “scared” for me. I had to explain to her what happened. After she saw me eat the correct pizza, she was relieved and kept hugging me. Please listen to the customers about their food allergies, especially when it can be life or death for them. 2/9- I’m editing this post because my family and I went there today. The service was 100% HORRIBLE!!! I ordered the pasta, which was delicious, and I asked for a side of veggies, and the lady gave me a dirty look. I was charged $1.75 for a bottle of water, and the staff were yelling at each other. Very unprofessional! The restaurant was cold, and I had to keep my coat on. Never eating...
Read moreMy experience with the manager here was terrible today. I ordered online for delivery. When I got my food I received a cheese pizza. I ordered pepperoni or so I had thought at that point anyways. When I called I told her I got a cheese pizza instead of pepperoni. Instead of having good customer service and saying “ one moment I will check on that for you” her response was “so you ordered cheese and now you want pepperoni” I said no I ordered pepperoni and got a cheese so the order was wrong. She said I’m trying to figure out if you NEED the pepperoni...lol which obviously I wanted that. I said yes I would like to eat meat not cheese. She then proceeded to tell me they have the receipt and I ordered a cheese. Which I even said the computer probably screwed it up. She then said in a snobby tone “I will send you the pepperoni EVEN though you ordered the cheese” I told her she was very rude and I was upset because of how rude she was. And she said “no I’m not and I’m not going to argue with you” then told me to have a good day in a very rude tone. Never in my life have I been treated that way by someone who works at a food place. If she would have just told me from the beginning the receipt said cheese I would have just let it go. But she continued to question me and had a tone with me the whole time. Don’t work customer service if you don’t enjoy doing it. I’m very disappointed. She also told me they were going to take the cheese Pizza back when bringing the pepperoni like it was going to bother me. Lol no. It’s not about the order this is about how...
