Jet's Pizza hands down is an exceptional pizza. We had one in Springfield, Missouri but closed, so in our visit to St. Louis we had to visit it our first evening of our stay just up the street at the Hampton Inn. I absolutely loved the Jetzee but they have discontinued that sandwich and made it a Boatzee (similar to a Calzone) which is not quite the same but was still a good sandwich. The Boatzee is HUGE and should have only ordered one to split with my daughter, so please be aware you will not be able, maybe, to eat the whole thing, and I am a pretty big guy. We also ordered the 8 corner Pepperoni Pizza and a two slices of Cheese Pizza. We ended up with the Cheese pizza being a 4 corner which was an upgrade. Both pizzas on the Sourdough bread were awesome. The toppings were proportional to the slices so that you had a bite of one in every bite. The pizza was cooked perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and fully cooked in the inside and the sauce was spot on to the one here in Springfield so it made for a wonderful experience again. Spoke to Makiha who pleasantly took our order and said they upgraded it for free due to how busy they were at the time we were in there. We thanked her for kindly doing that for us. Mikiha and the cook were both very courteous and pleasant during our dine in experience and asked us if there was anything else they can do for us as we were eating. We will be up that way again and would really enjoy going to this location again and look forward to it. Thank you Jets Pizza and Mikiha for our...
Read moreOK I have to set the record straight for jet‘s Pizza. There are a lot of nasty comments on here and they really do not deserve them. I have been in the food business for over 30 years as a towboat cook in a pizza restaurant manager to name a few. And jets is some real pizza. They make the dough fresh and house every day from scratch. They make the sauce every day and house every morning from scratch. They grind the cheese every day. All the vegetables are cut fresh every day. The dough has actual flavor. The sausage is very high-quality. The sauce is most likely California tomatoes growing especially for them. They use grande brand cheese which is the best cheese money can buy and it caramelizes very well on the pizza. This is a real mom and pops operation. Mama jet would be very proud of them. The two slice and a beverage special is one of the best deals going in the food world. This is some amazing pizza so amazing in fact I’ve eaten it 45 days in a row for a quick lunch. I noticed that the sauce is very bright with tomato flavor and not overspiced it is a very well balanced sauce great for dipping. Overall...
Read moreCalled to place an order and sat on hold for over 20 mins + on a continuous prerecorded loop and never had spoke with a live person. They left me on hold until I gave up 26 minutes into the call!
By the time I gave up and ended the call I was right next to the store so I figured I would go inside and try to place an order of breadsticks. Sat at the front counter while 3-4 different Jet’s workers walked right past me without acknowledging I was even there or giving me any idea as to who or when I would be helped. Another customer who came in behind me finally had to raise her voice just to get one of the four employees standing within 10 feet of us, clearly seeing us waiting, yet not even acknowledging us. One of the workers eventually came over and with an attitude asked what we needed and proceeded to tell me it would be “at least 15-20 mins” for a single order of breadsticks that could have been ordered and ready if ANYONE had cared to answer the phone.
VERY poor customer service and quality of workers at this location. Would never recommend...
