Medina Grill — Restaurant in St. Louis

My kids & I stopped here for dinner on our way to Chicago from Dallas last week and we are so glad we did. I had the Juicy Jerusalem and I can honestly say it is the best sandwich I can remember having. The combination of the chicken shawarma, marinated peppers & onions, and melted provolone was enough to give the sandwich a positive review. But then, it's almost unfair that they put this all on a warm French baguette that is slightly crispy on the outside and soft & airy on the inside. As I'm eating the sandwich, I'm thinking to myself; this the best sandwich I've ever had! But we have all said that in the heat (or eat) of the moment. I ordered a 2nd one and split it with my daughter just to be sure. For the past week I have talked about this sandwich to my friends. I have gone through my mental rolodex of sandwiches to see how it stacks up, and it holds its own against my other favorites. Finally, this morning I was laying on my couch just day dreaming about that sandwich wishing I could have one back home in Dallas. So I feel like I'm really not exaggerating when I say the Juicy Jerusalem is one of the best sandwiches...

UPDATE I got my rice bowl on Wednesday Jun 30. When the original people was handling the operation it was great. But since they got new staff it is getting bad. They changer for exrra sauce which is no problem. But they don't add extra sauce which I paid for and also don't add regular sauce. And when I brought it back they can't do refund because they don't do refunds. So for their mistake I had to drive there 2 times. Each trip take me 40 min.. and also I hope owner sees it and pay attention.

Please would love to see that footage. And this is going to be biggest messup. Because I have recipt which says extra spicy. I also brought full container back. And your employee threw it in trash on the camera. Your cook was there as witness also the girl was there who took the order. I can't give you my email like this. If you want I can come and we can see the...

It hits all the notes of a well ran and well set establishment in St. Louis. The servers are kind, attentive, and friendly. The food is beyond delicious and has made it to where I have a pavlovian response to visiting family in St. Louis, I always expect to go to Medina Grill when I'm there.

Their Juicy Jerusalem is a masterpiece, with or without a side salad which are also good and so refreshing! Falafel is an amazing snack of interesting flavor and their selected dipping sauce that goes with it only bolsters more fantastic flavor.

It's also right along a street full of cool shops and scenes that you could start or end your day there and it will guarantee a great time.
