The food & service were excellent. However, the server, Bettina, tried to steal two waya from us. First, when she realized we gave her $200 in cash for a $139.21 bill, she said, “I’ll be right back with your change.” Then she proceeded to talk and laugh with us for 5 to 10 minutes then walked away saying “Have a nice night.” We believe her hope is that we had enough to drink that after the conversation we would completely forget we had change coming. When she realized we weren’t leaving until we got our change, she finally brought it over and short changed us by $20.79 leaving us only $40 in change in small bills consisting of a twenty, 3 fives and 5 ones. She proceeded to walk away in a hurry. Then when we counted our change and realized we were short changed. I could see her watching us from the corner of the bar. We counted it several times and compared it to the receipt. I was about to get up and go let her know we were short changed but, when she realized we knew, she came running over and said, “Oh sorry. I just realized I shortchanged you $20. Have a nice night.” and ran off again. What a scam! We would have tipped her over 20%, probably at least $30. We foolishly still left her $25. I totally regret this after rethinking this over and over and realizing she knew exactly what she was doing and it was intentional. If we were smarter, we would’ve left her a note and left her nothing and told her that her tip was not to steal...

We had had many great experiences at LPG during the "after" hours with their appetizers and drinks. I figured it was the perfect classy place to have Mother's Day Brunch. On the website, they just say that it was Mother's Day Brunch today. They also have a brunch menu available to look at. However, when we got there, it turned out that it was a buffet mainly of breakfast foods, puff pastries and crab legs that had been sitting for who knows how long. For $120.00, I was DEEPLY disappointed. If you are going to have a buffet instead of your normally scheduled brunch menu, mention that so that people can make an educated decision. At 2pm in the afternoon, I wasn't expecting French Toast, chicken and waffles or scrambled eggs but rather the crab eggs benedict advertised in your brunch menu. Also, seating a family with a baby in one of your window seats way up high just isn't common sense. It caused many problems for us parents and an overall stressful experience. In the future, give people the option to choose between the buffet or to order from your menu. The items on your menu range from 8-12$ a plate, not $30 a plate like the buffet. If I could get a refund I would. I was extremely embarrassed that this was what was presented to my family and am hesitant to give your restaurant any further business in the future. Feeling duped and...

LPG fashions itself as a fine dining restaurant (per current menu pricing ($25-30 per entre plus sides) but it's really more like a sports bar (6 large screen TV's with football playing). Before dining I carefully reviewed their menu only to find that they have a "new" one. This new menu looks like a 15% price increase plus all sandwiches have been removed. Odd since it looks like a sports bar. Generally it seems that LPG showed a lower price menu so that people would buy a groupon. That's just misleading.

So since I couldn't order a sandwich, I ordered Salmon. It was served undercooked...so it went back and we waited; and picked at my wife's meal in the meantime. 10 minutes later we got an overcooked piece of salmon.

We were on a night out so didn't want a confrontation; although the server, Sam was aware of our disappointment. 4 days ago Groupon contacted the restaurant and asked them to call me...since I haven't heard from them, I called LPG and left a message. Still no call back.

Confused ambience, misrepresented menu and non engaged management?? There are simply too many great restaurants in St...

Stopped by for an early dinner during the home opener. The restaurant is very spacious and has multiple dinning areas for parties or more intimate meals. They have a large patio with tables, couches, and a fireplace. Lucas Park also has a large bar to dine and drink at. The menu isn't the biggest but they make up for it with quality. From our appetizers to our meals everyone enjoyed the food and left full and happy. The smoked chicken meatballs and short rib sliders were great starters. The tenderloin was perfectly cooked & seasoned. The half chicken was juicy and tender. The restaurant has a great open cozy atmosphere with lots of big windows for natural light and window seat cushioned with throw pillows. Service was just as good as the food and atmosphere, we will definitely return next time we are in town.

One of my favorite downtown bars to frequent at night. I've never tasted there food since I go to the bar at night but I can safely say the bar floor is very modernized artsy. There is a fireplace with a small seating area up some stairs and in that same area is a door that leads to a large patio that has a really cool long table that has the fireplace in the table. There is a VIP area that's somewhat large and the bathrooms stay clean and look very good. The bar is moderately priced and the bartenders have good knowledge on mixed drinks. The dance floor is medium sized and your so close to the DJ you can see exactly what songs there playing on there decks and you can literally put your drink on the DJs counter/booth. Yet I wouldn't recommend that😝

I went to Lucas Park Grille for the first time and it was for a birthday party. It was a nice ambiance, there's a private room for large parties which was good. I ordered the lobster Mac n cheese which was really flavorful. Just the right amount. The butter that they serve with the bread was tasty as well.
