We ordered the food and picked it up today. I ordered the Fig Wars sandwich and the Tomato Basil soup. Never tasted Tomato soup that taste like marinara sauce. There's no way they could have tasted that soup and thought it taste good. I could barely find what was suppose to be on my sandwich because it was swallowed up by the two pieces of Texas toast. I expected slices of bacon to be on my sandwich but it was little pieces of crumbles of bacon with the cheese and fig. I only ate one piece of the bread, the one that had everything on it and it was barely anything there. The flavor wasn't bad but you didn't need two pieces of bread for that sandwich. I don't know how the person that made that sandwich wasn't embarrassed by it and had the nerve to actually sell it to a customer. And to let you know I'm not being hard on you guys, people in another department who happened to be in our office when we were talking about our food ordered from you today and some of them ordered the Fig Wars, they didn't like it and another person ordered the Tomato soup and said the same thing that I did, that it taste like Marinara sauce. You guys need to go back to the drawing board....

From out of town. Staying less than a mile from the Foundry location. Ordered and paid online. I had a tough time navigating to find the exact location to pick up my order. I called the phone number on my confirmation email for help. A woman answered and let me know it was her young SON’s phone that I called. Needless to say, that was an awkward conversation. Then I tried to call the number that was listed on Google. It rang several times before letting me know that this voicemail box had not been set up yet. I’m sure the atmosphere and food is outstanding. And I’m sure the people working in the actual restaurant are doing a great job. But the order and pick up experience, at least for an out-of-tower, was an...

Absolutely deceptive menu. They sell a $10 "bowl" of Mac and cheese that is less than a cup of food. It's insane. At least give us a bowl of Mac and cheese and then throw the same amount of toppings. Noodles are so cheap!!! Do not go here for dinner. Just be clear with the menu you sell a Mac and cheese cup for $10 not a bowl. It isn't good either. I was not impressed and had to go someone else in the foundry to get a proper meal. edit the large size is only $8.50 but there's tax. They call it a "large bowl", but again see the picture this is not large and not a bowl. Also didn't try a sandwich because I thought the mac and cheese would be a bowl as in a dinner...

This place is located inside The Foundry. We went there to make everyone in the group happy with the different options they offer. I chose Steve’s Meltdown. I got Buffalo Mac and cheese and then the grilled cheese with marinara and pepperoni on it. I added chicken to that per staff recommendation so it was like a chicken parm grilled cheese. That was the right call. This is just food court food though. I wouldn’t get it again if I was in the area just because of how many options are there. I watched the worker microwave the mac and cheese LMAO. Don’t expect any high quality anything.

Why is there cheese oozing from The City Foundry? Welcome to the newest obsession in St. Louis's culinary scene: Steve’s Meltdown, nestled within the City Foundry. Brought to you by the masterminds of Steve’s Hot Dogs, The Fountain on Locust, and The Fountain on Delmar, two of our favorites, Steve Ewing and Danni Eickenhorst. I liked the ciabatta bun pizza grilled cheese option myself so give that one a try. Make it vegetarian by removing the pepperoni! They always a specialty sandwich on the menu too! Stop in and check them out!
