Did the Amber Sky 2088 experience. It’s about $60/person and lasts about 45 minutes. I made reservations online and check in went smoothly.

The setup process was a little tedious and confusing. Once they load you up with gear, everything happens really quickly. There was some kind of “choose your character” aspect that we completely missed. We had a couple technical difficulties that we couldn’t get addressed (my left arm wasn’t registering, so when you’re supposed to heal someone by putting your hand on their shoulder, I couldn’t do that).

Once the game started things went decently smooth. There were quite a few glitches, such as I’d be looking in one direction and then suddenly facing a different way, but it was still fun. The headsets weren’t loud enough so we couldn’t communicate very well. But, like I said, we had fun.

After you’re done, they show your stats as well as a brief clip of your experience which is also emailed to you. It’s a nice keepsake.

I was worried about motion sickness, since I used an Oculus headset once and got nauseous after less than 10 minutes, but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t an issue with this setup.

Overall, I think we’ll probably return someday when hopefully they’ve solved a few more of the...

Sandbox should offere IT/Tech support and not leave their customer service reps out in the dry. Every room was malfunctioning! It was beyond extreme technical difficulties. Our appointment was at 8 and we were pushed back to 10 (Game play is 20-30 minutes without glitching and they closed at 11), we traveled for this and ended up having to cancel.

Tatiana was phenomenal and extremely professional. She let us know about delay time each time we asked for an update and offered cancelation when she found out we were from out of town. She apologized profusely and attempted everything she could to help. I definitely won't travel for this again. The staff were amazing but sadly they are stuck dealing with bad tech and bad support.

If you choose to go be on time but also know there could be issues. When you sign in it will be under the name of the person who booked. You'll have to click that and have each person add their personal info and sign a waver (we found our about that at around 9) with the insane technical difficulties I can understand why this wasn't mentioned. A popup notice should have been offered on the device since you have to start the process over when adding your other players. Overall it's clear Sandbox is not well...

This was our second time going to sandbox VR and we had alot of fun. First we played squid game and it was cool. My son really enjoyed playing the games for squid game. It was a cool experience so we decided to go back for a second time and shoot zombies. While we waited the second time we had someone check in on us and make sure we were doing ok. Mason helped us get our controllers on and vest on. He was very helpful and nice. He didn’t know my son and thought the game was going to be too much for him but my son loves horror everything. At the end of the game my son loved it and had a great time. I enjoyed being able to play on the VR with him since we only have one at home which makes it not so easy to play together. Mason and his crew really did a great job making sure we were comfortable and had everything rdy before the game started. We had to switch my son’s toy gun at the beginning of the game but Mason made sure to fix it. I would’ve liked to seen us on the tv when the game was over before we left, but Mason might have forgotten. It was the end of the night and I should’ve asked. But I’m the customer and shouldn’t have to do that. Overall we loved it. We will be back again to have fun. Thanks to everyone that worked while...

I flew my entire team into St. Louis for a department meeting and took them here for our team activity. Brandon and his team were amazing to work with from start to finish! After my initial call, they got back to me right away, exactly when they said they would. Brandon was thorough in his explanation of everything and offer a first timers discount (woot woot). I was able to pay quickly over the phone and everything was set up! Upon arrival you can tell that Brandon and his team were prepared for us and we were able to get in and get started immediately. One group played Squid Game and the other Star Trek and we all had an amazing time. P.S. Squid Game will you a little sweaty so be prepared for that 😅 Afterwards they had a cool reel set up for us to view and download immediately onto our phones. I love the immediate aspect of that. Whole Sandbox team was truly a pleasure and I will definitely be encouraging other departments to have their team building activities here . Friends and family too! It was such a great time. Thanks Brandon + Team!

Came seeking virtual glory, I did—alone, as many travelers are. Passing through the system for a flight at dawn, I thought: a quick solo session in VR would serve well. But no… this place does not cater to the lone warrior. The booking system? A cruel joke. Select “1 player,” and nothing—no times, no hope, just the void. Select “2 or more”? Suddenly, the schedule bursts to life like it sensed the Force awakening. Why offer a “1 player” option if you’re not going to honor it? A trick. A trap. A digital taunt to anyone who dares to stand alone. I didn’t come to make friends. I came to play. But unless you’re dragging a second person through the door, you’re not getting past the booking screen. The experience? Never had one. The service? As nonexistent as Alderaan. This is not the VR experience you’re looking for if it's you alone. Fix your system. Respect solo travelers and lone players.
