I must say that I was quite impressed, overall, with this White Castle location! Hence my decision to give them four stars. For a fast-food restaurant, this place was pretty great! You will see from the pictures, yourself, that the overall interior and exterior of the restaurant were quite clean! I rarely found a napkin or some kind of straggler piece of trash, here and there, lying around. That's also why I gave them four stars instead of five stars. It wasn't exactly perfect, but it wasn't terrible, either! Furthermore, I gave them four stars because the staff members were all professional, friendly, courteous, and accommodating! Unfortunately, I didn't really see any name tags and therefore I can't really compliment one person over another. However, I can definitely tell you that all three or four ladies who were working that early evening wear all superb! To be honest with you, I really didn't expect service and cleanliness of this caliber! It's a fast-food restaurant, after all. But, it might have something to do with the fact that it's a fairly newer establishment (having been remodeled a while ago). I ordered 3 fish sandwiches (since I'm a pescatarian, now, and requested that they cook them fresh. I was told they'd do that, anyway. Well, guess what???! That's EXACTLY what they did. The food was very tasty. The fountain area was a little "messy," but they made up for this little shortcoming by having such a CLEAN MEN'S RESTROOM (how about THAT??!), and a very organized and neat condiments and straw/napkins area. The other cool thing MOST APPRECIATED about this location is the wall decor. The collage of pictures is VERY TRENDY! You'll see it in the pics. Finally--and this is a "small thing"--but, they EVEN had a WORKING chip reader for my credit card. Lol...How many establishments have chip readers, but they're malfunctioning???! Read moreDaughter went into restaurant to get her food and wanted jalapeno cheese on her burgers but didn't get that. She called up and told them that she didn't get it and while on the phone the employees were cursing so loud and rude she came and told me. I'm highly pissed off about this and they knew exactly who she was because one explained she'd rode her bike up there.
This is not the first incident with this messed up location. Just the other day there were only two cars in the drive thru ahead of us and we waited close to thirty minutes in line and both cars received one bag a piece.
Not to mention the manager with all the crazy colors in her hair (this time orange) she has an attitude that is beyond fixing. You ask her a question and she acts like she can careless or just plain didn't hear you. Someone needs to fix this because it's only getting worse. They can't complete a correct order seems like to save their lives. I don't even think retraining would be enough it's time...
Read moreWhat a hole. Snide surly staff can't be bothered. At 10am they had no waffles and had run out of milk. Typical St Louis corporate business. The staff hates you and would like you to know it. If they can find a way to fail and under serve they will. Immature staff had nothing but contempt for paying customers. When they didn't have breakfast at 10 in the morning, I ordered some fake crab cake sliders. All 3 of which were so dark with burnt dirty oil that they were absolutely inedible. I knew it wouldn't be real crab, but I was sure it had to be real food, by law. I've had stomach issues all day as a result. I did not hold white castle in very high esteem before this, I now will never be sickened and laughed at by the children permitted to run this place for my troubles again....
