I'm not sure if this is a harsh review of expectations, but it was weird. Usually, I order my food and pick it up at the counter, because I'm afraid of inconveniencing people, and fast food workers often get treated poorly, but if I'm alone with my kids in the play area I sometimes will do the table service. I did the table service here and an employee walked all the way to the play area to tell me, with a snarky tone that had me wondering what I had done wrong, that my food was at the counter. At some point I would have noticed and gone to grab it without official complaint, just minor annoyance but likely understanding. But something about an employee seeing a, rather large, "table service" sticker on a tray with a table number in bold print, walking to that table to tell the customer her tray of 20 chicken nuggets and 3 dips is at the counter felt kind of rude. If it were a few trays or a heavy tray, a lot of food, maybe if they were crazy busy and didn't have anyone who could run the food, it would be understandable because I know there are reasons for not running the food. I just can't help but think they should find a way to remove that option from the app if they are not willing to provide the service. But... an employee did walk to my table... to tell me my food was sitting on the counter waiting for me to go get it. So they had the time to do it, they just didn't want to. And I had not interacted with anyone since no one was at the counter when we walked in, so I do not know how I would have had time to offend anyone. And I know that rude customers aren't an excuse for poor service, but I am one of those people who understands the why. It might not be "right" but we've all wanted to act out or minorly inconvenience rude people. So if I had been rude, maybe it would make sense. I just can't get over that she walked to my table to tell me my food was on the counter.
Also, and this is not anything right or wrong, just something to note: the play area is definitely geared towards younger toddler-aged kids. Older kids can have fun, but it's small and there is not much to offer...
Read moreLast night June 14, I was at this location and ordered in the drive-thru. At first, I did not get a drink. So, after eating half of my meal I decided to go back through the drive-thru to get something to drink. The time was 11:50 p.m. This location's drive-thru closed at midnight. There was a car in front of me that went through and I waited for the person to ask me what I wanted to order. They never did !! At 11:53 p.m. I move forward to the cashiers window and there was no one there. At 11:57 p.m. I move forward to the first window as the car in front of me was leaving. A young lady working there asked me did you have an order? I said, "no because no one took my order at the first window and I've sat out there for 10 minutes almost." IT PAYS TO BE HONEST AND I WAS NOT GOING TO LIE AND SAY I HAD AN ORDER JUST SO I COULD HAVE GOTTEN MY DRINK AND LEFT WITHOUT PAYING. BUT, MAYBE THAT'S WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE !! She then said, "what were closed now." I said, "don't you close at midnight?" She said, "yes". I said, "it's not midnight yet!" I said, "I've been sitting in line since 11:50 p.m." AND THE MANAGER ON DUTY WAS STANDING RIGHT BEHIND HER WHEN I SAID THIS, AND HE DIDN'T CARE AT ALL!! SO THIS IS HOW DIRTY THEY ARE AT THIS LOCATION. THEY PULL THEIR ORDER TAKER AWAY FROM THE FIRST WINDOW 10 MINUTES BEFORE THEY CLOSE ON PURPOSE AS TO NOT TAKE ANY MORE ORDERS. EVEN WHEN THE MENUS ARE LIT UP SO YOU CAN ORDER !! I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYBODY SAYS, IF YOU ARE OPEN TO A CERTAIN TIME STAY OPEN UNTIL A CERTAIN TIME!!!! IF YOU WANT TO CLOSE AT 11:50 P.M. SAY YOU CLOSE AT 11:50 P.M. BUT, IF IT'S MIDNIGHT CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET OUT OF THERE UNTIL AN HOUR LATER ANYWAY. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET OUT OF THERE ANY EARLIER YOUR SERVICE IS PATHETIC, AND THE MANAGER SKILLS ARE WORSE !!!!!! IF I WAS ANYONE I WOULDN'T GO TO THIS LOCATION BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY DID ON...
Read moreToday was the 4th time in 2 months that the drive-thru made substitutions on my order & didn't tell me before I paid. 3 of those occasions were substitution in size, mediums instead of a larges. I might have been OK with that if they had told me while ordering, but let the 1st 2 occasions slide anyway because it wasn't worth the time to complain. These last 2 incidents weren't any of those days. Today the air had gone out on my car (it was 94°) & I ordered a large cold drink. Yep, I got a medium. Telling me they were out of large drink cups & that all drinks were the same price wasn't helpful or good customer service. When I was waiting elsewhere I called to complain to mgmt & was told they were out of large drink cups because they "had a very large order earlier in the day". Who (that's competent) runs out of something so basic as drink cups?? The other time I complained I had ordered Chicken McGriddles to take to an elderly neighbor. She had McChicken sandwiches in her bag. When I called about that I was told they don't serve McGriddles in the afternoon. 1st, they couldn't tell me that when I ordered or when they gave me the bag? 2nd, the other McD in the area does, why not them? I'm not going back to this McD again. And if this is OK with corporate I'm not going back ever. There are too many acceptable fast food restaurants with drive-thru in this area to put up with this kind...
