Sadly, had to stop at this location to have breakfast. The location was FREEZING, and since I was traveling, had nothing to wear while eating. Not only was I cold, the food got cold very quickly. I can’t eat cold food, so ended up not even able to finish my egg and cheese biscuit, also ordered an orange juice and large coffee, 8 creamers and 8 sugars to be added . The people working the front had ZERO sense of urgency. Lazy is a word that comes to mind. My husband ordered a side of eggs, a biscuit on the side, and a small coffee. He requested, while placing his order, that grape jelly, salsa, salt and pepper be provided. We got the coffees, not prepared as requested. Then had to go grab all those things. We ordered to eat in, yet was all placed in bags, so we couldn’t see what had or hadn’t been provided. Several trips to the counter, only to have to wait, as people were placing orders. This is unacceptable. If we ask for something when ordering, it needs to be ensured that it’s done properly. I really don’t like to give bad reviews, yet bad service when we were in a time crunch made us late for our appointment. Because of this, avoid this location if you’re in a hurry. They literally are there for a paycheck and don’t give a crap about the customers. In fact, my very first job was with McDonald’s. I was running the front and making salads and coffee/tea for the day. Trust me. I was in drive through within a week, back and front, due to my innate sense of getting g it right the first time. I had customers every single day I recognized by voice, and knew their orders by heart. For two years, I worked there. I loved my job. I wish I could work there again. I see sub-par employees who walk as slow as humanly possible after they take an order to get drinks and things. They have to improve. If you work FAST food, yet weigh so much that you cannot PHYSICALLY be FAST, you don’t belong in the fro t or drive through. FAST FOOD requires the employee themselves be FAST. MANAGERS. HIRE BETTER. I cannot believe someone would not observe their staff. Especially when having to hit metrics in the front and drive through. Unless there’s no longer timing metrics of two min or less? If they got rid of that, it needs to come BACK. Who knows. I truly hope that if someone who applies who is heavy set gets the role. Just not in the role that requires SPEED as the main requirement. Put them in roles of fries or making the biscuits or making drinks. Something. But not impacting the CUSTOMERS TIME was RUBBED into my head. You got time to lean, you got time to clean. I worked drive through. Did prep for so many stations. Made pies and things. I was all over the place every single day, when in break I even cleaned the parking lot as I used to smoke. I would clean the parking lot of trash discarded by disrespectful customers. I would love to do it again. Taking pride in your job, even if mopping a floor or cleaning up the restrooms will truly bring a sense of accomplishment and a job well done. Never took a single order that I didn’t make a friend. I loved my customers!!! This was late 80’s. I had a group of seniors who came in every single day. I knew them by name. And that was so long ago but I still know them. And what they ordered. It isn’t hard to be nice. Speedy. And observant. I wish I was there again. I might just go apply. Please McDonald’s. Make the managers take more effort to place the right staff member in the correct roles. Then we won’t avoid your locations where the staff is just not concerned about anything but passing the time there to get paid and not do the job. I can LOOK at a person who walks two miles an hr on their way into an interview and KNOW they will not be able to work the front in a speedy manner. Hire them but put them on duties that do t require speed. Have them do the birthday party setups. Clean the lobby and trash. Restrooms. Outside. Fries, nuggets. Whatever. But stop putting lazy people in the front. I am even willing to come and work there and put my work ethic out for all to see. I truly hope...
Read moreWord to the wise, if you want to refill your drink do not walk out or go into the Walmart, not even for a couple minutes. If you are with another person have them stay in the McDonald's while you go shop. I will tell you why I give this location just 2 Stars. And this is coming from a person who is a server and works in the hospitality industry. I take myself and my child here once a week to treat him to what he likes. I only spent $17.73 for the two of us. The food is usually great. The food is not the problem. I know it's not the healthiest, but it taste good. But anyway, we eat our food and decide to walk through Walmart to grab a few things. We went through, grabbed 2 or 3 things, and on our way out I tried to go in for a refill. The lady gets worked up and tells me they don't allow refills, and then she proceeds to turn the machine off on me. I told her I just spent close to 20 bucks here not even 5 minutes ago. But I just walked out. I tell you what I am going to do though. That little petty incident is going to cost McDonald's or this location more than the cost of a refill. I am not a homeless person trying to use the restroom, or some huge person trying to get 6 and 7 refills. I am a regular paying customer. I spend about $80 bucks a month at this location alone. And for the next six months or more I will go to Wendy's or Chick Fil A, that are right down the street. And you will cost Walmart money too. And, if I do go to this location again, I will be even more petty than this manager was. I will keep poring my drink out and go through a dozen refills. Learn how to treat your customers. Update: I went back this past week, order numbers 182 & 184 on 07-01-24. Their customer service is still horrible. They gave me an Uber Eats order they had laying around because they did not want to cook nuggets 15 minutes before closing. And the young gentleman that works there does not care about his job, the only young guy who works there. And the two lady managers that work there are rude as hell. One time shame on you. Two times shame on me. I'm done McDonald's. No more McDonald's. And that is why I am editing my review months later and going from two stars to just one. And I gave no stars for service because there is no service here. Good day to you all. I...
Read moreI went through the drive-thru at this McDonalds where I tend to go later in the evening. I asked for a hamburger 1/4 pounder ( meal ) with no onions and no mustard. Get to the drive-thru window and the cashier doesn't speak to me , she looks confused and angrey, she does not know my order and asked me to repeat it . A bag of food is tossed to me and I drive off.. open the bag .... the french fries are cold. The hamburger has onions and mustard on it. All the doors are locked because it's late at night and it's impossible to go inside to complain ...the employees look at you standing outside pointing at the bag and do nothing. I have to walk to the drive-thru window and complain. They begrudgingly gave me my food again... in the same original bag I had before. The french fries are still cold ( same ones). I asked them to replace them because they were cold and mushy. The hamburger now has no mustard on it but still has onions. I hate this location.... the employees seem angry that you're there and bitter that they have to work. There's always some type of problem with the food....
