I recently visited Raising Cane's located at 12627 South Kirkwood Rd, Stafford, TX 77477 and ordered a box combo. While I appreciated the friendly staff and good service, I was highly disappointed with the size of the chicken tenders that were served to me.
When I ordered a box combo, I expected the chicken tenders to be of a substantial size, similar to what I have experienced in the past at other locations. Unfortunately, the chicken tenders I received were incredibly small, more akin to chicken nuggets rather than the hearty tenders I was hoping for. This left me feeling unsatisfied and disappointed with my meal.
If the tenders were going to be so small, I believe there should have been more included in the meal to compensate for their size. After all, the main reason I came to Raising Cane's was because their chicken tenders.
While I do want to acknowledge the positive aspects of my experience, such as the friendly staff and good service, I must emphasize that the underwhelming size of the chicken tenders overshadowed these factors. I left feeling somewhat let down by my visit to Raising Cane's at this particular location.
I hope that the management takes this feedback into account and considers adjusting the portion size of their chicken tenders in the future. It would greatly improve the overall dining experience and ensure that customers, like myself, feel satisfied with their meal.
UPDATE update my previous review regarding my recent experience at Raising Cane's. I am pleased to inform you that Manager Michael reached out to me personally to address the issues I encountered during my visit.
Following my initial review, Michael took immediate action and called me to apologize for the inconvenience caused. He expressed genuine concern and demonstrated a commitment to rectifying the situation. Michael assured me that the incident did not reflect their usual standards and emphasized their dedication to providing exceptional service.
To my surprise, Michael offered to remake my order at no additional cost, ensuring that the quality and satisfaction of the food would meet my expectations. We scheduled a convenient time for me to visit the restaurant and enjoy...

Oh... you are still here. So you aren't sure just yet. I will tell you what then, the commercials I hear on the radio talk about how they have one thing they do and they want to be the best. Well I can assure you they are killing that goal. Their chicken strips are amazing. Juicy meat, with that light and crispy breading. Dipped in their sauce, once you take that bite and those flavors hit your tongue you will think you saw the mayor of flavor town sneaking out the back door.
Sorry, had to find a napkin, I started to drool.
Anyway, its not just the chicken, the toast is sooooooooooooo good. buttered and toasted so you get a beautiful light crunch with each bite.
The Fries are good, I enjoy the level of salt on the crinkle cut as the right level, and the cole slaw is not bad, but the star of the show is that chicken.
Also, you can enjoy the standard fountain drinks, but the store made lemonade and tea are amazing. Side note I also like to chew ice (I will wait for the booing to stop)... and they have some of the best ice out there.
If you are still here you must not have been that hungry, which raises the question on why are you reading a review on a Cane's this far if not to see if you want to try it?!? Are you a psychopath, a potential franchisee, just someone that likes to read and wanted to see what weird turns this review would take? Well which ever it may be, get yourself some canes, and a sweet tea and enjoy your...
