Ordered 7 breakfast tacos for me and my team via doordash on October 5th. This location completely skipped one of the tacos and didnt offer to make it right or have me pick it up. They also were completely out of potatoes and called me to let me know that they didn't know what to do about not being able to make the tacos. I told them to replace it with other comparable tacos, to which they just sent the original potato and egg tacos that I ordered, with no potatoes. I called the store manager to report it and the manager promised a full refund for the order since one of the tacos was missed entirely and the rest of them were horrible without the potatoes and I had paid full price. I had to call back 3 separate times over one month to remind the store about the refund that I never received. In the end they apologized and said there's nothing more they can do. I am throughly disappointed in Torchy's and will be eliminating it from my breakfast spots...
Read moreI'd like to thank Torcy's for adding pico to my burritos, and skimping on the guacamole. I bought two burritos and this is the first time I've ever had to pick out excessive tomatoes and onions.
The guacamole is almost non-existent. Just enough to give a greenish tint to some of the cross-sections of the burrito.
Add to this the lack of option of calling in for a pick-up and having to use the "WANT TO ADD A 15% TIP FOR SOMEONE LITERALLY PUTTING YOUR FOOD IN A BAG SO YOU CAN PICK IT UP? (you're a terrible person if you don't give more money for someone to hand you the equivalent of a mcdonald's happy meal)" cumbersome and irritating app, I won't be back to this location for quite some time. Absolutely disappointing.
Final thoughts:
Did they deliberately add pico and skimp on guac because I didn't tip them? Is it some kind of pay-more-for-your-food thing? Further, has anyone seen that 2005 movie "Waiting"?
Yeah....
Read moreI work literally next door to this place is amazing. So Happy to have this new location close to my office building in Stafford. I reported the one guy complaining about Torchy's quality of service, due to construction workers still finishing construction aka THEIR JOB. They work for the construction company, not Torchy's. You purposely went to a soft opening where finishing touches are still being wrapped up. How does that interfere with their food prep or degrade their quality? If you wanted to go when it was all buttoned up, you should have waited. You are more concerned with being FIRST, rather than being accurate. I did the same for the other three individuals who rated it one star, the place hasn't even officially opened. Be realistic. Great job Torchy's, I've watched the construction from a patch of grass to the amazing structure it is now. Congrats on opening a new location....
