Bedford Hall Craft Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Stamford

Went for Saturday brunch. Called ahead to ask when they stopped serving brunch and was told 4pm. Arrived at 3pm and was told they are no longer serving brunch. At 3:30pm a young woman and two older males sat down and were immediately served brunch menu and mimosas when we questioned why they were served brunch and we weren’t we were told the waitress was new and didn’t know when brunch was over. At 350pm the table was joined by two more guests and the “new waitress” brought all of them glasses for mimosas. This is now opening more brunch orders since I have been to this restaurant a thousand times and know each person must order their own unlimited to receive a glass. I immediately asked to speak to manager who came to the table irritated already and started lying and gaslighting us by saying the computers stop allowing brunch orders at 2:45 tho none of us arrived until after 3pm. The absolute disregard for customer service and making the customer happy. We were the only table complaining and asking for brunch drinks and treated as if we were trash and other customers were more entitled than we were. I was ordering the chopped salad with my co-worker almost everyday for like almost a month because we loved it so much. We always had the same order 2 chopped salads one without blue cheese because my co-worker is allergic and one with no onions because i hate onions. Today we placed the same order we always do and they both arrived with blue cheese. I called them and told them that my co-worker is allergic and the woman who picked up told me she will speak to her manager and then hung up on me. I kept trying to call back and nobody picked up. I gave it like 10 minutes just in case she was speaking to the manager. Tried calling like 10 times nobody ever picked up. The last time I tried to call they picked up the phone and left it unhooked on purpose so I could hear everything going on the background but nobody spoke. I waited listening for 10 minutes straight and nobody came to the phone it was just unhooked. We work in the medical field so it's hard for us to come during lunch time to a place where there is never any parking. I'm sure that loosing 2 customers is not a big deal in their pockets but shame on them to not fixing their own mistake because I specified how I wanted my meal....

As usual, I was on the hunt for something delicious, and it felt like a burger night. I searched for the top burgers in Stamford and found this place. I placed my order over the phone with Nicholas, who told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I gave it 25 minutes just to be safe.

I came here late at night for a delicious burger, and I was not disappointed. I ordered the craft burger based on reviews and Nicholas’ recommendation. It was big, juicy, perfectly cooked to medium, and had a wonderful char taste—almost too charred, which I never thought I’d say! I added a fried egg and bacon on top of the already stacked ingredients, and while all the flavors were delicious, with the egg and bacon added, it might have been too many ingredients for one burger.

The inside was very spacious with a real tavern feel to it, which added to the atmosphere. No issues with the food whatsoever, but when I arrived, no one greeted me, and I had to wait about 10 extra minutes for the burger to be ready, even though it was dead inside, as you can see from the picture.
