John's Pizza — Restaurant in Stamford

Been going to John's since I was in high school. The food is always consistent and the owners and workers are always nice. I especially like the way they treat the teenagers that come in. Always with respect no matter how much or little they order. Try to eat the pizza there. The crust is best right out of the oven. My other favs are their grilled chicken salad, meatball subs with peppers, cheeseburger grinder and their fries are great (again, best when eaten in). Update 2021- since COVID-19 John’s is takeout only so you can’t eat the pizza inside but we did eat it in the parking lot outside! Please support this Stamford institution that’s been in business...

Busy little spot. The food is good, sometimes a little too greasy. It can be a gamble for quality depending the time of day/chef (like the grinders). The pizza is always spot on and they are consists. The gyro are like the ones from the little carts in New York. No complains there. The place is small and clean, but when the high schoolers come out, its packed with 20 people (most who aren't even ordering) make a ruckus. John’s Pizza is hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had in Connecticut. The crust is perfectly crunchy and delicious, the cheese is amazing, and the sauce is so good you could drink it! Eating their pizza is like a euphoric experience with a dopamine spike. The chili cheese fries are also amazing and hit all the right spots. The food is consistently great, the service is quick, and the location is prime. I love it so much that I go at least twice a month.
