For starters, this place is loud. Like... REALLY loud. We're talking "your family and waiter can't even hear you" levels of loud. People were hollering along with the radio blasting in the background and it made for a very stressful dining experience.
Not to mention they messed up my burger as well. I asked for a pretty run of the mill cheeseburger with the typical veggies you get with one, and what they sent out was a burger with the wrong cheese I asked for and no toppings. When I brought this up, they took it back and returned with a burger with the correct cheese... but still with no toppings. When I asked about this again, they brought out all the veggies on a separate plate that combined with everything else my family ordered made the table uncomfortably cramped. And even then they still forgot the onions.
I tried these things called "truffle fries" too which tasted... interesting. Honestly it tasted like they just threw a bunch of random spices and shredded cheese onto fries for the purposes of making a new menu item. At least they didn't cost anymore than normal fries.
A thing I thought was kinda cool here is they had a darts machine set up that you can just play. I think you had to pay if you wanted it to like, keep score for you. But if you just wanted to throw a couple for the sake of throwing them you could.
The entire place is plastered in stickers too. It's overwhelming when you first enter, but if you can take a couple minutes while you're waiting for your food it's pretty fun just to look around and view them all. There's everything from pop culture to internet memes to indie band stickers represented here and you can tell a lot of work was put into covering every square inch of these walls with these stickers.
Overall... it's hard to recommend. I can't help but feel that there are better bars of this type, even within the immediate area. But you really don't mind a deafening amount of noise and your food getting messed up occasionally in the chaos of it all, you might get some...

I went on saturday, got one beer (a Na one so i was completely sober) it was supposed to be only $6. I gave them my card to hold because i wasnt sure if i would get another one.
Before i sat down to enjoy drinking my beer i got a message from my bank that they charged me $20. I immediately asked the bartender i gave my card too what happened and she said it was some kind if deposit charge and that it would be refunded once i closed my tab.
I thought that was wierd but i said ok and finished my beer. Closed out my tab. On the reciept it said i was charged $6 (plus tax) and i gave a $3 tip… now the $20 charge is the only charge i have from them and its about to be posted to my account.
I went back the next day on a sunday, told the bartender who was working what happened, i left my contact info and everything. Noone’s reached back out to me and now im going to have to dispute this charge with my bank.
I think was maybe a bug miscommunication on their part, but ultimately im the one getting screwed and their management obviously doesn’t care about what happens to their customers if they refuse to even reach out to me to resolve this.
There are plenty of other bars on this street you should go to instead if this what they’re doing to people.
Im not looking for an apology, im not looking for free drinks, im just annoyed that they wasted my time and money and refuse to make it right… i even offered to come back with my debit card and swipe on the proper charge, but nothing. I hope their management sees this… ive lived in stamford for 20 years, and its a shame they have to do...
Read moreI lived in Stamford for years and have always had a good experience with restaurants. However,. that was not the case with Brick house. I ordered boneless wings at a cost of $12.99. The restaurant was super nice to take orders soo close to kitchen closing hour but delivery fell short. I provided a pic. Please take note I did not eat anything, this is how the wings were given to me. There are five of small wings on a large plate and to be honest it look like somebody had already eaten them and then they just gave me the leftovers. I sent back the plate to the kitchen, they did offer to make me something else but I was always told you never send anything back to the kitchen. I was concerned about what my experience would be if I were to order anything else. I'm really sad because the individual that I went to the restaurant with who happens to know the owner their dish was immaculate they got a burger and fries they got a nice amount of fries and a nice juicy burger I've never met the owner so I'm not exactly sure why my plate looked the way that it did. My suggestion to folks is the drinks here are really good they're pretty expensive. I mean you're only going to get two drinks because two or individual drinks are about like $14 a pop. Be very weary when ordering food and they don't have a lot of wait stuff. The wait staff is nice but they're short staffed, now I don't know if this is because of the Sunday but if you're looking to eat here better look...
