New Olive Branch Deli & Cafe — Restaurant in Stamford

Recently, I was working in the area and needed to find somewhere to get a good lunch, rather quickly. I like to ask people from the area for their opinion, so I asked the woman I was doing a job for and she said they often go to this place because you can get in and out quickly and parking is usually not a hassle. I found this to be helpful and true. I called ahead and ordered a Philly cheesesteak. My food was ready when I arrived and the staff here got me in and out quickly, which I appreciate. My food was good, which is saying something because sometimes when I get a Philly cheesesteak at certain places, it ends up being a little tough and Grizzley like chewing on shoe leather. They do not listen to notes given on food for delivery. I’ve had this issue over 5 times. The first time I order a “create your own sandwich” and somehow they added tomatoes which I didn’t add in the instructions. So the next day I ordered it and said no tomatoes. Still got tomatoes. So the next day I said allergic to tomatoes. My sandwich had tomatoes. So I stopped ordering. Today i thought let me see if they’re better because it’s been almost a year. I order a sandwich and said no peppers or vinegar, please add honey mustard and mayo on the side. I had no mayo or honey mustard on the side and the sandwich had vinegar. Its way over priced, the only thong good are the bagels and muffins. Obviously they dont make them. The cream cheese taste like card board. Ive been going there for muffins every morning for 2 year and the 2 times i orderd a bacon egg and cheese and it had raw bacon. The first time i took the loss second time i brought back. Didnt want to get sick again. An ice coffee 2 muffins and a bacon egg and cheese cost $15.83 what a rip off. Ill never spend a dime in there again. The old owners had great food and better prices these new owner's are just greedy, jr and jimmy are great guys and are very polite its to bad ill never go in there again.
