A kosher meat restaurant in Stamford. The restaurant was busy when we visited and I can tell why. Their food is delicious and it's clearly a popular place to eat. We came with some family but I noticed some business meetings, dates, etc. The ambience was lovely. There is an option to either sit and eat indoors or outdoors. We chose indoors. A reservation is recommended because it's a pretty popular place and it really fills up. They accommodate children both with high chair availability and with special kids cups (think not glass). The waitstaff was very pleasant. They were polite and informative. I especially liked that when we asked for the cheque, they reviewed everything we had ordered on a small tablet and then we actually could pay by credit card on the tablet. That was neat. All in all, we had a very lovely experience and would highly recommend eating there. We'll be back on out next visit...
Read moreI’m not sure what to conclude about this restaurant. I was not wowed by the atmosphere, food quality nor flavors and the wine was just awful, very sweet no matter what we ordered. We chose two appetizers, the mini hot dogs and beef empanadas. The meat in the empanadas was rubbery and had grizzle. The hot dogs were overcooked and dried out. Then we ordered chicken fajitas over green beans and chicken parjiot, (chicken thighs) with jasmine rice carrots and tahini. I ordered the dish deconstructed which they did but forgot the rice. It was flavorful and cooked well. We also ordered the chicken fajitas and they forgot the onions and peppers. It could be that given our substitutions things were left out, I’m not sure. Overall I can’t say I enjoyed...
Read moreGreat experience. We started with drinks, they were generous and tasty. Delicious food. The Smoky Joe was a huge hit, salty, sweet, spicy, and giant - enough for two people. The tacos were also delicious. We did not love the mushroom risotto. Kids' menu went over very well with the one child (he's finicky, critical, and a food expert, so, his review really means something) he enjoyed the petite burger cooked medium, his meatballs were well seasoned and the tomato sauce was not canned tasting. The kids' ice cream dessert is creamsicle flavored. We finished with the skillet cookie, it fed 4 adults and a child. I really wanted to try the smores cake, but we were full. The service...
