There are not enough stars for this place! My husband and I travel a lot and are always looking for a place that really signifies the area to sit and talk to locals and people from all over. The new owner ,Trip, has done an incredible job creating such place. From the detailed engravings of the salmon river on the Bar-top to the warm stone fireplace and local decor, you are given an authentic feel of what stanly represents. One can play a game of pool , tabletop shuffle board or socialize with friends at one of several comfortable seating areas. The staff and the owner set the tone and all that walk through the door are made to feel like friends. Tripp has done an amazing job with this place. If you’re going to go through the trouble of coming up to Stanley, reward yourself by stopping here for a drink. It is big enough for a crowd but still feels like the world’s greatest dive bar. Because it is. This is an authentic, iconic locals bar that welcomes everyone & a must stop in charming Stanley! The new owner has created an inviting space & outstanding cocktail menu.
