This was probably the worst trip EVER to Wendy's, & unfortunately, not the first bad experience at this same location, several years back! As far as this trip...it was about 11:30ish pm-(they were closing at 12 midnight). The food was decent but HALF of the food I originally wanted, they were "out of"? The frosty machine was "outta order"-(I was originally sent to buy *3 med-lg. frostys)! And it took the guys working there prob 10 minutes to come back inside from "talking" outside? There were about 3-4 more OTHER ppl than myself, also waiting. AND a handful of customers left because the line was long &/or they could gather for themselves, too, that it "just wasn't gonna happen"! The poor cashier guy was training & trying to learn & over charged me for 1-2 items-(& he was a little smart with me, too)? The drive-thru was completely shut down, so everyone had to park & walk in. All I can say-(from working in the restaurant industry myself, previously), is the overall management of this location is poor, to say the least! You can't run a restaurant with employees that are not only just working for a paycheck...but they also act like it, too! From back of the house to the front of the house...it's probably the worst trip I've ever experienced in my adult life! Do not go to this Wendy's unless there is absolutely no other option! I can't believe it's open & operating...they are losing $$ daily,...
Read moreWe got there right before they apparently closed. Which online it said they closed at 10 not 8. The staff seemed to all be high as a Kite. Blaring hip hop music, standing around laughing & joking with each other. They kept repeating what others ordering 3 or 4 times while the music was blaring. The one lady who took the orders at first seemed high as a Kite or drunk. She was mumbling, forgetful, questioning stuff like she didn't even work there. She forgot to put someone else's sauce in their bag when they asked 4 times. So when we asked for ghost pepper ranch with our order & then after we got our order to go, we double checked & asked if there was Ghost pepper ranch in the bag & the lady looked all confused & look down at the sauces & quickly said oh there isn't any. Is there anything else you want? I went to say Buffalo & another worker came over & said they did in fact have some & it was right next to where the lady was looking. The one lady was super helpful & even offered us all the Ghost pepper ranch they had cause apparently they were just gonna throw it all out & that no one really orders it to begin with. She gave us a few handfuls of sauces in a bag. That is what truly saved our experience while stopping at...
Read moreReceived my food very quickly, which is the ONLY reason this store didn’t rate a single star. Most likely because there were only three customers in the entire store. Which brings me to my next point. There's an old saying that states, “ If you’ve got time to lean, you’ve got time to clean.” The tables appeared to have not been wiped down all day. (I was there at 3:45 p.m.). And the floor hadn’t been swept all day either. With all that work to be done, I’m puzzled as to why EVERY EMPLOYEE was hanging around outside and not ONE PERSON in the food prep/cashier area while I was eating. At one point (at the very beginning of my meal eating), the drive through worker, (I know she had that position due to wearing a headset), was chatting it up with her boyfriend and COMPLAINING about a previous customer within my earshot. I get that all fast food and other retail businesses are sadly forced to hire complacent and apathetic teenagers these days just to keep your business open. But that’s no excuse for store managers to be so lax on their responsibilities which include having their workers do simple...
