Ellianos Coffee — Restaurant in Statesboro

I’ve always been a fan of Elliano’s, until this morning. I’m a nursing student and have super early mornings for clinical rotations. Elliano’s opens at 6AM on weekdays - or at least is supposed to.

I came to the store at 6AM on Wednesday for my morning coffee and breakfast, super excited because I (used to) LOVE Elliano’s. I got there and the store was closed. Waited until 6:10 and still nobody showed up. I had to go to Starbucks for my morning coffee and breakfast instead, which I hate.

On my way back from Starbucks I saw that Elliano’s was open (it was around 6:20 now). I stopped by to let whoever was working know that I was there once they were supposed to open and how disappointed I was. I proceeded to sit there in my car for 5+ minutes while the guy working glanced at me and didn’t come to the window at all, not even to say to wait a minute. That was the rudest service I ever got there - I left.

Not only does the store not open on time, but the customer service from (some) employees is horrid. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back. I was really happy to have found my favorite little coffee shop, only to...

We have been very loyal customers at this location, often ordering 2-3 times a week for our dental office employees. We always making separate online orders AHEAD OF TIME and someone from the group picks them all up at one time. This has never been an issue -- until today.

When I pulled up to pick up THREE COFFEES, the barista (blonde/brownish straight hair, working on the side towards Shoguns) immediately told me, "Y'all are going to have to stop ordering as a group, it's affecting our times in the mornings. You'll need to start ordering separately." She also insisted that was her "bosses orders."

This was not only extremely unprofessional but also disappointing, especially considering that we patiently wait in long lines and leave 20% tips (which are optional.) We have supported this location faithfully, but after today's experience, we will no longer...

i honestly go here because there's no Starbucks line. the prices are about in line and I've noticed the staff have actually gotten friendlier over the past year as they change personnel. coffee is OK, nothing super mind blowing. haven't really tried the milk drinks or anything else. but usually when i go around lunch or odd hours, there's no cars and it's fast. usually just get a bagel with cream cheese and it's fine. recently got two breakfast sandwiches and the crossaint, bagel, meat, cheese, everything was fridge cold which just shocks me as to what someone was thinking or if this a one...
