The most amazing and most personable dine in experience I’ve ever had in statesboro. The food was authentic, I went with the servers recommendation. I had the Rogan Josh with garlic naan, and 10/10 it was the most delicious thing I’ve eaten all year. The place was super clean! They’re new, and my friend and me work at another restaurant in statesboro, and had decided we’d give this place a try on our break. And she got the butter chicken, both VERY DELICIOUS! We ended up sharing our dishes, and splitting our left overs to take to go. We met the cook, and we were grateful we were able to thank him. It was super affordable. Totally a hidden gem! We will be back, and become regulars! Don’t forget to tip them! They’re friendly, authentic, genuine people, and you can tell they care about their customers. By far the best experience I’ve had in such a long time at a restaurant. The place gives an upper class vibe but at home feel. With every bite I couldn’t help but fall more and more in love. Garlic naan ? 10/10 Butter chicken? 10/10 Rogan Josh? 10/10 Fried chicken? 10/10 Rice ? 10/10 (and I’m picky about my rice)
They have these yogurt based drinks that were pretty good. Definitely recommended. Seating was comfy. Tables were clean! The whole place smelt...
Read moreMy husband and I had lunch here today. We were greeted warmly by Sonny who was very attentive and friendly. The cozy atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful meal. We started with the Kachumber Salad — fresh, crunchy, and full of vibrant flavors that made it the perfect appetizer. We added the Papad which was served crisp and came with both a mint & cilantro chutney and the classic tamarind chutney — both bursting with flavor! For our mains, I chose the Rogan Josh with shrimp and fish. It was fully flavorful and the seafood was so tender, soaking up the rich, aromatic spices. My husband had the Goat Curry. He said the was goat was melt-in-your-mouth delicious with a hearty, savory sauce. To complete the meal, we enjoyed a bread basket with three different naans, each warm, fluffy, and perfect for scooping up every last bite. The service was welcoming and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made everything even better. Every dish was prepared with such care and flavor — easily one of the best Indian meals we’ve had. We’ll definitely be back!...
Read moreThey just opened 3 weeks ago! Immediately walking in to the restaurant, the atmosphere was cozy and well decorated. A great place for a date night. I started with the apple, cucumber & onion salad which was very lightly dressed in a salted tangy seasoning. It was crisp and fresh and the portion was enough to serve two. I love goat so the owner helped me choose Chettinad for my entree. Large chunks of tender goat in a rich, lightly smoky, medium spicy sauce. Again, enough to serve two! Of course the rice was perfectly fluffy and aromatic. The owner also recommended cheese naan and it complimented the entree very well. I believe the naan would go excellently with anything, anywhere, every day. It was fluffy but perfectly crispy on the exterior, full of cheese, herbs, and flavor. I also had a mango lassi drink, which is great for cooling the palate if you choose a spicy meal. It was quite thick and pleasantly sweet, not too sweet. The entire experience from the atmosphere to the attentive owner and staff to the meal itself felt like a...
