Growing up part Lebanese and Syrian I was basically raised on this type of food, so I know what I like, and my expectations were high. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and our waitress Kylie was outstanding. For drinks I ordered a Manhattan, and my friend had a Spicey Margarita. Both were strong and delicious. For our Appetizers we had the Calamari which was super crispy and came with an amazing sliced tomato sauce. Of course I had to get a taste of everything so the Vegetarian Plate was an absolute must. It came with so many different food items and even just the presentation alone was gorgeous. My favorites were the fried Falafel which was super flavorful, crispy, but not dry at all like many can be from other places, the Baba Ghanouge was fantastic, and the Hummus which was so smooth and some of the best I’ve had. Hot bread was provided as well for dipping. Now if I’m completely honest, I did not care for the Veggie Grape Leaves or the Fattoush Salad. The salad seemed a little soggy and the flavors just kind of blended together, and the Grape Leaves had much too strong of a lemon/garlic type of taste that was way too overpowering. For our Entrees I decided on the Kibbeh Niyeh (raw lamb), which was very fresh and a large portion for the price. My friend decided to mix it up and try the Chicken Florentine. I wasn’t sure a predominantly Middle Eastern style restaurant could deliver on a dish like that, but not only was the portion huge, the flavor and quality is like one you’d find at a nice Italian restaurant. I was very surprised. For Dessert we of course had to try the Tiramisu. Each bite nearly had our eyes rolling to the back of our heads. It was light but flavorful, and each bite just melted in your mouth. If you’re in the mood for good Mediterranean, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Stephanie is by far the most incompetent general manager of a restaurant I’ve ever come across. Between making two carry out orders that were both incorrect as well as attending an event this past weekend, this woman has no reason to be in customer service! The way she treated our hosts when planning the event and telling us “you shouldn’t have planned your event here“ call for major speculation of she’s if she is even in the right field. This woman did not even crack a smile or say you’re welcome after the numerous times I told her thank you very much this past weekend at our table. She looked upset the entire time taking care of the banquet room as well. I should also mention the appearances of the staff were unclean and looked unkept. Maybe put a smile on your faces when helping out with customers and making sure that your staff looks clean. The waiters/workers had dust and food particles over their shirts and pants did not look clean at all but yet we’re wearing Louis Vuitton and Ferragamo belts. Maybe put some effort into your appearances. Stop looking sloppy. Not sure if my original review went from last week, but when someone orders a sandwich that wants only garlic and chicken, please do not make my original order and my redo order both with vegetables and other items added into it. Please look at the ticket/receipt as well as both sandwiches that I received from Stephanie after having my husband drive another 25 minutes out of his way to pick up the “corrected“ food order. Such a waste A food that we were not able to eat. I will be making sure everyone knows how horribly run this establishment is if they cannot even get a simple carry out order completed.

Ike's Lebanese Restaurant, Sterling Heights: 👍 👍 👍👎 👎 Discover Authentic Lebanese Flavors at Ike's in Sterling Heights, where diners have shared their experiences. FOOD QUALITY👍: Ike's Lebanese Restaurant offers an authentic Lebanese dining experience with a variety of flavors to savor. SERVICE👎: The service, while generally decent, could benefit from improvements. We have noted that the front staff should pay more attention to the order of arrivals, and there have been issues with servers providing the menu tablet promptly. No greeting and no smile VALUE for MONEY👎: While the food quality and service are decent, we found the value for money aspect lacking, especially when compared to similar food options available elsewhere. AMBIENCE & CLEANLINESS👍: Ike's provides a clean and comfortable atmosphere for patrons to enjoy their meals. LOCATION👍: Conveniently situated in Sterling Heights, Ike's is easily accessible for local diners. In essence, Ike's Lebanese Restaurant is a hub for authentic Lebanese cuisine in Sterling Heights. While the food and ambience are generally good, there have been some concerns regarding service. The value for money aspect also receives mixed reviews. The restaurant offers a comfortable and clean atmosphere, which adds to the overall dining experience. So bigger party it's good option

Horrible Experience..... My family and friends were celebrating my sister's Birthday Sunday. October 28th. What started off as a lovely evening soon went very wrong. The beginning of our experience started off with our excellent waitress Jackie. Jackie was awesome, she was friendly, interactive, & knowledgeable of all items on the menu. There was a total of 16 people in our party. 8 of our guest ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo which prove to be disastrous. (on several occasions in the past, when ordering this dish it was really good and tasty) however, this time the pasta was extremely blend and the sauce was so watery that the dish was more like soup then pasta. Now at $17/plate we expected better or at least eatable.

When our guest begin to express concern, we ask to see the manager whose name is STEPHANIE. This manager, informed us that they had ran low on the ingredients used to make the fettuccine sauce so they had to stretch it with water in order to accommodate quest's request for extra sauce. This was unacceptable. So when our guest refused to eat the fettuccine and choose to return their meal, in exchange for somthing else, STEPHANIE (manager) informed us that she could not accommodate this request (smothered chicken)because they did not have the ingredients. Although, we questioned her response, STEPHANIE (manager) did agree to charge these guest 1/2 of their meal. So what was truly baffling to us was when the police were called at STEPHANIE'S (manager) request. Especially because no one was arguing, no one was beligerant, combative, rude, or loud.

STEPHANIE (manager) shame on you for ruining what started off as a perfect evening. Perhaps the owner of this establishment should send STEPHANIE (manager) to several customer quality classes!!

I wouldn't say that I would not refer people to this restaurant, because in the past, myself and other family members, had a great experience, but then of course we didn't have STEPHANIE to contend with and...

UPDATE: My husband and I dined here on my birthday in October. We had hoped for an improvement upon our previous dining experience. On my birthday, I requested a fruit smoothie, and I was nonplussed to be told it would cost $9.00. My dinner of grilled chicken breast was ultimately comped as a gesture of goodwill, although the chicken breast itself lacked any kind of palatability. My husband's steak was served well-done to the point of being charred and burnt, emitting smoke that filled the surrounding air with an unpleasant odor. We will not be returning to this restaurant and strongly advise others to reconsider dining here due to the inconsistent quality of the food.

My original review was: The last time my husband and I dined here was in October 2023. It was disgusting to find a strand of hair in my salad! It was ash, platinum blonde color. It weren’t mine when I have red violet hair. I told the waitress and all she said was she would give me another side salad to take home? I saw two waitstaff stood near the oven where our waitress had told us she was toasting bread…and that’s when I saw the female waitstaff with long ash, platinum blonde hair. It was one of her long hairs that was in my salad and that was definitely disgusting to be reminded of that. If dodgy stuff like this is happening then how many more mishaps are going on in the kitchen that customers aren’t aware of? is all I can think about. At first I was polite, but I realised how off putting it is so why wouldn’t we give this place a miss? I read on the menu the rice they make has vermicelli. The waitress confirmed that it’s made with vermicelli. What that means for Celiacs and gluten intolerant is this restaurant’s rice is not gluten free and is...
