Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

Ordered 2 Philly's and moved to the end of the counter. They were busy, as it was about noon on Thursday, the 1st of February. The lady who I found out is the manager had gloves on. However, I noticed her touching her hair, clothes, drive-thru window, money, and all while preparing food. I ordered the Philly's with mayonnaise and salt and pepper. I noticed that she was making one of my sandwiches and asked her to put mayo and salt and pepper and she refused! She said she would put it in the bag. I then asked her to change her gloves and I told her why. From that point forth, she had an attitude with me! I asked her to put the mayo and salt and pepper on the 2nd sandwich while she was preparing it and she refused!. It took her employee, a young man, to put it on the sandwich. I was extremely baffled at her customer service. I asked for my money back and I told her that I would never be back. She then gave me my money, more than what I had given her. Then the young man told me that, "Yeah, don't come back because we do not need your type of drama in here." I was appalled at the audacity of the young man. The young man then came from behind the counter to ensure I left, he stood very close to me with his arms folded. I guess he thought he'd intimidate me. Then he called me stupid! I then begin to get highly upset, all while attempting to keep my composure. After contemplating my next move, I stood there in disbelief! The rude manager called the police and then I left. This is a horrible Tubby's location and it should be avoided. They are racist, unclean, and down right unsavory. This is the worst location and the owner's should fire her. Customers be weary regarding the sanitation of this place. Horrible customer service and overall horrible experience, I will...

I'm sorry 2 say that this was between less than average and average/ok. i had an assortment of food delivered thru GrubHub. 2 children's meals which come with fries or cookie_1st kids meal was chicken nuggets_2nd was small turkey/chz sub. The kid's meals are an ok price @ $4_ the fries were cold/soggy_ the nuggets were warm-ish_ the small turkey/chz sub was soggy & couldn't really taste chz. (i took pics- i will post them if able). i also ordered sides of macaroni/chz bites- fried_ and fried mozzarella chz sticks._ the macaroni/chz bites were gross. the cheese sticks were ok- but i had 2 warm them in microwave..

the BEST item in the order was the chocolate chip cookies they offer_ u can get 1 with kiddy meals or buy 1 for .70 cents. The prices were good/fair. the macaroni/chz bites & cheese sticks were approx $3_ the kids meals approx $4_ i also ordered a chicken parmesan sub_ $4.60- that was pretty good- i did have 2 warm in microwave- but it tasted pretty good- i'd order the chicken/parm sub again- and the cheese sticks and the cookies_ they get 3 stars cause food items averaged out to ok and prices were good. i'd recommend if you pick it up- that way if something's wrong u can exchange it right away. no guarantees with delivery- mine came cold/soggy- yours may not..

for 2 items = 6 ft jumbo ( more meat cheese ) difference is 4 dollars from reg 6 ft plain steak and cheese no vegetables no special bread one was asked for mayo tubby sauce and steak sauce. other was tubby sauce which I received 1 in container in bag that's it nothing else my total was $32.07 I questioned it as I live in city that has a tubby inside another store about 15 miles from me this one was by where I was working on food truck at pickleball event and my parter had a craving and he had never tried tubbys in lifetime of 43 years so I got him one at my location which is unreal the difference the inside lobby of store that sells other items I get 2 jumbo steak and cheese and mayo and steak sauce and tubbys sauce for 22 .00 they are larger more meat and if I don't want jumbo it's 9.00 also can have peppers onions and all above for 9.00 as well . the location here only does drive thru there is no one allowed inside to oversee a thing even windows are frosty ? unreal the gouging at that location...
