Takito Holic — Restaurant in Stickney Township

Was door dashing in the area so I stopped in based off my girlfriend saying she liked the pastor tacos and also for them having margaritas 😁. I ordered at the register but when I said for here she said that I could just take a seat and she would have took my order from there. She was very sweet about it. I ordered 2 pastor, 1 steak, and one birria taco. For my drink I ordered the watermelon margarita. Just like any other sit down restaurant it came with free chips and salsa and also pickled onions with habernos. My food came not to long after. it was fresh and hot. The pastor was delicious I tried it with the pickled onions. OMG it was amazing. the steak was tender and well seasoned. The birria was juicy and overall the tacos were a hit. Now I try margarita's every where I go. If they have em I am trying them and there margarita's did not let me down at all. I was very impressed with the presentation of it as well as the flavor. Could have had me fooled but they taste like a drink from del toro. If anyone knows that place then you know what I mean so so good perfect balance of flavor. Ended up getting the mango one too. yessssss it was great too. Know I know they say to leave a five star review for a free pina colada but even had i not read that I would have still left this review . Everything was much better then I expected. Try the margarita's if you go for sure. I entend to come back and try other items on their menu. this was my first time and they did not disappoint. I honestly liked this place I had tried several times their burritos and tacos they are good but last night I wanted to try their tortas I went with my husband and he got a pastor and I had carne asada. Never again it made him sick to the stomach and I started feeling nauseous I couldn’t eat it anymore I then decided to eat the rest the following day like my left overs nope same thing it made me so sick so I decided to call them just to inform the man who answered was not professional he never showed empathy whatsoever he never ask for my name all he said was I’ll let the manager know. I later on called to see if I can talk to a manager someone answered but hung up the call if they have caller ID and seen who I was already then that’s messed up because I called like 3 more times and they never answered me anymore. I’ll definitely not be returning to this location anymore. They need to be more professional honestly. UPDATE: I decided to call back a lady answered pretty rude said she was the manager and I told her the situation she said I received your complaint but there’s nothing I can do about your situation I’m like really? Not even a sorry wow this shows how ignorant and unprofessional this place is well I told her fine I’ll not be returning to this place nor recommend anyone because I was at least expecting a sorry or even “hey come back for a discount or maybe come get a taco” but it’s ok this place isn’t the only location to go to. Disgusting, ugly and very unprofessional attitude. I ordered via phone with a young girl and came to pick up. The older woman asked which sauce I want, I say "both is fine" and she gets testy about that. If it's the serious, just keep it and don't bother offering. Not the first time she's done that. I now realize they got my order wrong, now I'm upset of being delayed getting back to work, and I have a right to be. I literally asked for (2) orders, not (2) items, big difference! I order the same way every time I come, which is often, never been a problem before. Yet, they repetitively insist it was my fault.

I go to pay and she wanted to charge me for the add'l items, COMPLETELY disregarding the cost. So, I go to calculate myself the difference in what I was charged and what I now owe. They now try to select items to make up the price, but it cost me very slightly more than what I owe. They messed up, so I expected them to take the cut, not overcharge me. I go ahead and pay it, then the girl comes to bring me change and DROPS it in my hand AND it was short at that! What they should've done was refunded me and then charged me correctly.

Then the woman barely hands me my bag and walks off with her attitude. Mind you, I've never been nasty and wasn't today. Yeah I'm mad today, of course, but all you can see was me being upset, not once disrespectful. You mess up, you blame me, you overcharge me AND you're rude and disrespectful. Never coming here again, I'll find...
