Uncle Sam's — Restaurant in Stickney Township

I just arrived here its 1:47am and they have the doors locked and the open sign is on. The Caucasian lady waved her hand by her neck saying they are closed when they close at 2am and the. Proceeded to ignore me with her head down mopping. Poor customer service and very wrong of the business to close earlier than posted time. She could have opened the door and asked me if there is anything I'd like that they are closing in 10 min... all I wanted was to order 4 roast beef subs for my wife and kids at home for lunch tomorrowas a surprise. But that just made me not want to eat here anymore with that service and false advertisement on the closing time. Shame and I loved coming to this place all my life since I was 8, I guess 24 yrs later...

I just recently started going here. The food I've bought is great! The place is clean and there's honestly always someone cleaning it too (sweeping,cleaning tables). They have a tv also. I like the old school vibe to it,the prices are decent for what you're getting. The order takers aren't that pleasant the times I've been,but in their defense I always go late maybe an hour or so before close,they close at 2. I assume they're tired from working a long shift. They're not just outright rude,but they're not pleasant either. You can sit and eat or take it to go. They have a restroom for customers. The parking lot is pretty big and it sits on both sides of...

The staff that were cooking the food 1-30-2021 didn't have on masks. The guy without facial hair (short) literally ate some of the fries right out the bin where the cooked fries are without gloves.. Then he had the audacity to throw a few back into the bin. He looked me in the eyes and laughed when he saw that his actions were seen. I think the worst part was a female employee brought her child in a carseat and sat him on the floor without masks on her or the infant..

This restaurant was recommended by a few of my patient's that were injured police/ military personnel 10 years ago. The health department needs to visit...
