My sister and I had brunch at Persimmon Hill this morning and it was fantastic! The two young ladies working the front were friendly and helpful. We ordered several breakfast items including: a hot breakfast sandwich, and the eggs Benedict. The eggs for the eggs Benedict were poached to perfection! We also had a pot of Hummingbird Cake tea - you need to try it. Just, try it. I also ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich to take to my husband for lunch at work and he was very impressed. I couldn’t leave without sampling the French pastries, so I purchased all the Pain aux Raisins. I would say I am sorry for taking them all, but I have never been less sorry. They were amazing! Read moreFirst time customer, due to high ratings. Unfortunately, because of experience, will not be returning. Bread was ok. Tiramisu was dry and marscapone tasted moldy. I called and spoke to Olivia, and she apologized and mentioned how they are training people so maybe that’s why? She did not offer to replace my tiramisu. Too expensive to keep donating money to their bakery. I’m sad about this because l love supporting mom and pop shops. Persimmon Hill, y’all have a good following. Y’all will be ok with one less fan.
