The review by a former employee prepared me for this visit. I sat in my car and called in my order. Chick & shrimp Hitachi combo. I possibly would've added more had the person taking my order suggested something. It was my 1st visit. I was told 20 mins wait. I waited 15, walked in to pay. Stepped outside to watch the counter so I'd know my order was ready. FAIL! Ppl just walk to the window & show their receipt. Counter was on 62 the entire time. During my wait outside a woman walks up & calls inside asking to place a "call-in" because she wasn't wearing a mask (another case of speakerphone everywhere). How nice I thought, until the cashier who took the call told the customer not to worry about it just come on in and order. The customer did!!! I waited for that customer to exit before I went back in!! Showed my receipt, took my food, jogged away & checked it in my car ๐๐. (Yes I sometimes eat in my car. Don't judge me ๐ณ) My food was hot & fresh. But all the way home I thought: I take "health" to heart. Allowing even 1 person in w/o a mask is a NO for me. I gotta take stars off...
ย ย ย Read more(2019) I have been to this location several times and I've never had an issue with the food or an employee. The reason the for this poor review.... Today after making my purchase. I got back home, began to eat. Within the first bit, I realized I was chewing on a cooked cricket in my hibachi chicken rice & veggies. When I got back to the restaurant, I of course asked for my money, but as I was showing what I found in my box, I was told by one of the cooks that, "This didn't come from here", so I took that as the employee calling me a lie. Which most definitely made me more upset than I already was. Another customer was next to me, he could clearly see that the insect was cooked and stated to that fact. I did get my money back and I want to Thank the manager on duty for being understanding. However, the words and actions from the employee (the cook) was VERY Unacceptable.
Overall, as a former food industry worker, I only wish the best for this business... I just suggest for other customers to pay close attention to your food...

I prefer to call in my orders because there is a long wait time when you go in person. One day I called and was left on hold for 40 mins, I hung and called back a couple of times but they never answered their phone. Today, my husband called, was left on hold for 30 mins. He hung up. I tried to call back many time but it was busy, after a couple tries, they finally answered, the girl tried to put me on hold, I asked not to because we were just on hold for 30 mins, so she took my order with such an annoyed tone. Not very customer friendly. Now, I come here often and I have always seen 2-3 young ladies working the counters. Why canโt each be assigned to one task: one handles phone orders, the other handles walk in customers, and the last one handles giving customers their orders. A customer should not be left on hold...
