Good morning, I would like to share my experience with you’ll. I am not an angry customer that never shopped at this store, I actually enjoy the store one stop shop! But here’s where my draw back comes from. I purchased a stilh farm boss less then 7mo ago long story short it’s not working. I brought it into the store for service , I cashier asked is it under warranty and I said yes most definitely I purchased the extend warranty. She begin looking my info up but nothing was found she only had my phone number and name but record of purchase. I thought that was odd because I shop here all the time but I’ve never had to return anything. The young lady said that my info could have been put into the old system, so a manger was called (Tina) . Immediately (Tina ) walked up and asked if had a receipt and I said no I don’t have the receipt I thought the system would have it since I bought it here. (Tina ) informed me that Northenr doesn’t store warranty information and it’s up to the customer to keep up with warranty paper receipt and weather or not it’s cover under warranty to droop it off the will be 60$ As I’m looking for the receipt (Tina ) kept restating that weather or not you have the receipt the price will be 60$. I Informed (Tina ) that I wanted to make sure the warranty will stand before I pay the 60$ , I also asked about the stihl 1 year manufacturer because I understand policy are rules and wanted to take a different route because again the chain saw is only 7mo. (Tina) then stated that the stilh 1 manufacturing warranty isn’t going to cover on what’s wrong with it , that’s why they tell customers to get the store warranty and it’s still 60$ for us to look it. My thoughts I don’t care about the 60$ obviously, I’m not cheap about a steel and secondly (Tina ) needs better training at customer service and customer empathy. I wasn’t being difficult at all and all I received was attitude and eyes rolling in hand gestures if you don’t believe me just roll back audio and video from April 2, 2024 7:30 am , I think because of the I’m going to ship somewhere else’s because I don’t like employees think customers don’t matter and stores isn’t making it right with customers I’m talking about real genuine customers that doesn’t look for anything...

The situation: Something broke on my commercial grade vehicle’s hydraulic system. I traditionally started with the so called, commercial vehicle mechanics. Of course, this was just for my own amusement. I already knew the answer I would receive. However, I still delight in watching their facial twitches and convulsions as they tried to figure out what part I need or what they’re doing for that matter. Next, to get serious, I Web-searched hydraulic shops and parts. I found “Northern Tool and Equipment” in Stockbridge, GA., that was only 28 miles away. I called ahead and talked to “Connie,” a sales associate. She told me of their wide selection based on my vague description. I was skeptical and worried that this was going to be at least a 3 store search. On the way, my GPS decided to stick at the last 6 miles as well. I called again and was connected to Connie. Her navigation was spot on as well as her description of the ample parking available per my vehicle size. Arriving, I sought her out and she assisted me in finding the part, “the exact part,” and I learned its proper title. That is: a, ¾” Male Pipe x ¾” Female Pipe Swivel, Hydraulic Adapter. I knew this part was going to be difficult to find. That is, if I went somewhere else. I was wrong in my assumptions and gladly so. The parts were $17 including the new roll of Teflon tape. However, I only left after spending $167.08, because I just had to! But let’s compare the average of $150hr labor and parts markups from the aforementioned diesel geniuses. So, thank you Connie for saving my boss money as well.
Northern Tool and its staff gets what it takes to survive as a “brick-n-mortar” in an increasingly online world. If you want to get me and others going through those doors, you better bring your best attitude, knowledge, and work ethic to work. Connie did. And again,...
Read moreThese people scam you when you bring the lawn mower in and pay $60 and then they take it and refuse to return it or repair it and moreover, they talk very rudely while you are the customer. These people will get angry in your face when you come to buy goods
these are hypocrites and extremely rude, they lie endlessly, i will tell everyone i know and my customers about this to see if these people can eat 60$ of sweat and tears of people who worked hard to earn it and the consequences of this cheating will follow them to the end of this life. 60$ is not much but it speaks volumes about the nature of these people.
you took the 60 dollars and did nothing and then you sold my lawn mower for money, too greedy, leaving nothing behind. now you reply to the comment saying you want to pay me back the 60 dollars, you must think I look like a beggar, right? I called many times, talked very properly and kindly, begged you to pay me the 60 dollars, and then you paid or not.
I told everyone the scene where I pushed the lawn mower under the 100 degree summer sun to the store and my shirt was soaked with sweat but I still smiled at the old lady collecting the money and the old lady employee had a very rude and unpleasant face as if someone forced her...
