I’m sure you’ve been here a while and business is probably great. It’s probably good enough not to worry about this particular review or many of the other one star reviews you get because you’re going to sell tons of donuts regardless.
The third time will not be a charm for me because there won’t be a third time.
My first time here I had asked about a jelly filled doughnut, or custard filled or just any filled doughnut at all. All they were pumping out as glazed donuts, which I guess is your biggest seller. I think the attitude you get when you ask a simple question portrays what kind of business you’re running. When you have people looking at you like you’re crazy, and maybe I am for asking that question at a donut store, it makes you not want to bother them again. So attempt the number one unsuccessful. Left store without any donuts.
Attempt number two was today. Mother’s Day Sunday at 9:30. Side door is locked. Grubby looking non-customers sitting in the back corner chairs. Maybe there are employees waiting for their shift to start. Maybe they worked all night and are waiting for a ride. But I didn’t realize this was a bus stop. There were 4 employees present and 2 walk out the back door to do other things while there are only 4 people in line. Line isn’t moving and we are going on 12 minutes at this point. So now you have to decide whether these donuts are important enough to tolerate this, head to Dunkin’ Donuts, or get the Krispy Kreme at Walmart.
With only the one lady helping at the counter and the second one finishing donut prep in the back, You have a drive-through line, and delivery drivers now coming in.
I think you get the picture. We’re not getting served anytime soon in this line. I didn’t realize a donut would take up to 15 minutes to serve. I think if I wait this out for about 25 minutes, I might get an entire box of donuts that I came here for. I drove about a half hour because my daughter wanted to have these and my wife also for Mother’s Day and a birthday celebration. Looks like it’s not going to happen today.
They are huge Krispy Kreme fans and they’re heading to Las Vegas today for Mother’s Day. We are a mixed family because I would prefer Dunkin’ Donuts. But I guess this is how things go down at KK.
If you do have any respect for your customers, try to clean up that dining room and get rid of people who are just laying around on the furniture and people walking around in your parking lot dancing and smoking. It’s an unsightly location and I don’t envy you for being in this part of the world. But You can’t let that kind of element trickle into...
Read moreI called thursday to redeem fundraiser vouchers for Friday,7/13. The male manager I spoke to was great. We settled on 8 am being, the best time for the 10 dozen I needed to redeem. When I got there with my 2 young children, at 7:50,the drive thru line was wrapped around the bldg. And the inside had maybe 3/4 ahead of me. Not an issue. I realized, they were waiting on the hot donuts. Still not an issue. About 8 after 8, the manager walked in. She did not speak and the look on her face said she did not want to be there. She immediately started speaking to the workers very ugly. She told other workers to help the cashier, as she could not handle the front. Thats'svery rude to say in front of now this very long line full of impatient customers. She finally came up to the bar, and asked me very nastily, "How can I help you"? I explained that I had called in about 10 dozen..but only needed 8. And that I also wanted to get an assorted dozen. She angrily responded and said" Well as you can see, there are no donuts and it is going to be awhile before they get done. She did not have on a name tag, but she had short colored hair and and a ring in her nose. She was flat out rude. All I did was what she asked and tell her what I needed. She basically acted as if I had done something wrong, when I completed followed Kripsy Kreme's instructions, which were to : Call ahead 24 hours if redeeming more than 3 fundraiser vouchers. I am completely disappointed! As much as my organization uses Krispy Kreme, this is disgusting. Krispy Kreme is supposed to be the face of fundraising and this is how you treat people who buys your products faithfully?? If you don't want people to redeem their vouchers, why even offer that as a service? As someone who always brags on Krispy Kreme, I am ashamed. Especially, If i have been sending people up their to receive that kind of service. I will not end this review on a bad note. I want to brag on my cashier Bridgette. She was extremely nice. She apologized several times for the wait when I told her there was no need. It was not her fault there were not any donuts ready. And it most certainly not her fault that the manager was super rude!...
Read moreAt 9:00PM, they had already shut down the dining room (laziness and lack of leadership is visible from a mile away). So, I drove around to the Drive-Thru. I was the fifth car in line, but the wait is completely worth it. My youngest son brought a friend of his home from college, and his friend from the UK has never had the iconic Original Glazed. I got to the half destroyed kiosk, and the lady in KK says “You ready to order?” I said “Yes, ma’am. Can I please get 2 dozen Original Glazed Donuts?” She replied with “I have 3 glazed left. We are sold out.” , and then she just shut the microphone off. So, as I’m still 2 cars away from the window and stuck in the line, I had to wait for customers in front of me to get their stuff and drive off. As I sat there, the entire situation of basically shutting down their store an hour early, started to irritate me. As I got the window, I decided to ask the lady for the GM’s phone number to call and complain. But, the lady working drive-thru ignored me for 3 minutes, until I finally started saying “ma’am”, and she finally opened the window. I said “Ma’am, I know this isn’t your fault, but it’s unsatisfactory for KrispyKreme to shut down an hour early and be sold out of their flagship donut, so I’d like to get your GM’s contact information. Her reply? She leaned out of the window and tapped on the poster at a 1-800 phone number.
Congratulations to the management and crew of the Stockbridge KrispyKreme. This store has gone down hill for years, and it looks like they achieved what they were targeting……the bottom. If I have explosive diarrhea, cloth seats, and no change of clothes, I will never visit this store again. You have lost...
