Angels Ice Cream — Restaurant in Stockbridge

We were the only customers inside, which meant we had the full attention of the young woman behind the counter. She greeted us and immediately offered us samples of different flavors, which helped us decide on flavors.

My friend inquired about toppings, and that’s where things took a slight dip. No hot fudge, no caramel—none of the usual indulgent extras you’d expect from a traditional ice cream spot. Instead, the toppings were more kid-centric: sprinkles, jelly candies, and other playful add-ons. Fun for kids, but a bit underwhelming for someone like me who loves the full sundae experience.

That said, the ice cream itself was solid. I opted for one scoop of cookies and cream, while my friend went with a cone of coffee ice cream and absolutely loved it. The portions were healthy, and the flavors didn’t disappoint.

Overall, while the shop lacked the “bells and whipped-cream whistles” I typically look for, it still delivered a pleasant experience. If you’re nearby and in the mood for a no-frills sweet treat, it’s worth a visit—especially if you’re bringing kids along. Just don’t expect the full ice cream parlor...

I’ll start with saying the place was clean and seemed like they put effort into making it welcoming. With that being said, if you’re looking for “Sweet Rolled Tacos”, this is not it. They still have a few of the same things but the variety of ice cream and cone flavors is no longer, nor do they put the rolled ice cream in cones. There’s just choc or vanilla for rolled ice cream and you choose 2 toppings to roll in it which will be fun size pieces of candy broken up. The ice cream was actually good, but there was a long hair in it🙁 and i didn’t bother to go tell them because the shorter older woman who works there was giving my friend nasty looks for no apparent reason which soured my taste for this business (along with the hair ofc)....

i was excited to try this place but the young lady working 4/9/25 @7PM was very rude. she didn’t greet me coming in or inform me she’d be with me soon which led me to just walk around and see how it worked here. when i finally asked her, “where to order” she rudely stated,” i’ll be with you when i can. i’m busy with the other customers.” also stated she keeps track of who came in and the order. keep in mind she different any samples or even ask if i had any questions about anything just nasty. it was no need for the attitude being this is my first time here and wasn’t directed on how or where to order! i completely understood that she was alone but her customer service is terrible. if she can’t handle the pressure she shouldn’t be...
