Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Stow

I have always loved coming to Applebee's in stow until our recent bad experiences. Over the past year with each visit I have noticed a downhill slope of service and food quality. Our last visit was last week and it was painful to not leave after our horrible service and poor quality of food. Attention to detail and quality is lacking at this location far more so then any other location I have been to.

It took over 30 minutes to receive our drinks. The appetizers took well over an hour and came out barely lukewarm, we had to send them back and it took another 20 minutes for them to come out. Finally the entrees came out after being at the restaurant for almost now 2 hours. My entrée (southwest chicken bowl) was cold and sent it back, within 7 minutes the server came back with my food. I could not even believe at first glance they served me what I had in front of me. Without needing to cut into the chicken it was clearly under cooked and you could see the pink raw chicken. I then of course sent back for them to try to get it right for the third try. Well chicken was cooked after 3rd attempt but the dish had no flavor and after receiving raw chicken you lose you appetite.

After calling over a manager and bringing all this to his attention about our experience, he stated "I have no excuse for this other then we have been getting swamped today". Meanwhile the restaurant was not even busy and there was at least half of there tables open. The manager didn't offer to comp anything from our bill or try to make things right. It was Mothers day. My son has taken me, his wife and children out for Dinner. The waiter brought out our apps and the chicken strips were buffalo. We thought they would be a barbecue. That was our mistake however we had only taken two off the plate of 10 or so he didn't offer to exchange them or anything okay fine. Then he dropped off the food and was nowhere to be found what we needed steak sauce and extra napkins. We had to call the manager over for that. Then we asked for it to go boxes and I had almost a full plate of my ribs left he bought me a small styrofoam box. When I needed a bigger box again he was nowhere to be found. I I had to get up from the table to go to the back area to ask for a box of ample size to fit my meal in. In the end his tip reflected his service we gave him $5 on a$91 bill. Normally we would have tipped $20. Also, the food didn't seem as though it was fresh, it wasn't nasty but the mashed potatoes didn't seem fresh and fluffy. The fries most certainly...

I purchased the berry salad with salmon instead of chicken. The salmon was great, but the salad was looking a little old. It seems like there was head lettuce. Also mixed in with it not really impressed with places that serve head lettuce. We also purchased the artichoke spinach dip it wasn’t as thick and creamy as I’ve had other places, it really wasn’t that great. Someone else in the party ordered the Caesar salad with a side of chicken again the chicken was decent, but the salad was looking old. Their boneless chicken wings are breaded and very subpar. They have them as their special for $.50 after 9 PM, but they’re not worth it at all. I asked if they had the bone in chicken wings with no breading and they don’t everything is breaded.
