We are long time and loyal customers. However, many of our last experiences (both dining in and take-out) have been less than satisfactory. What is unfortunate is that I have brought this to the attention of staff, supervisors and management on several occasions (as issues occurred). No effort has ever been made by management to address any issue.
For one, although this is nothing Iāve ever complained about or brought to their attention, they need to replace those old, cracked, flattened, uncomfortable booth seats.
My main recurring issue is with my orders rarely being prepared properly. More often than not, when I order a burger very well done with extra crispy bacon (I actually say āburn itā), I get medium if that with soggy undercooked bacon (although yesterdayās order was prepared properly - reason for 3 stars because when the food is as ordered, itās quite good). Onion rings often are undercooked as well. There are times when I order take out and get home only to find no bacon or no cheese or wrong cheese or wrong bun.
Yesterday I came across a discount card (actually we bought 2) sold by school football team boosters. Iāve had these for months. I had forgotten about them. But to my delight I noticed Paniniās in Stow was a restaurant participant. So when I ordered I expected to use one of the discounts offered per card. Turned out the $5 off $25 was dine-in only (and clearly labeled with this restriction). However, the free appetizer with purchase of 2 entrees stated per card/per check/per visit (something to that effect) with no mention of dine-in requirement. I was told all discounts on card were dine-in only despite not stating this on the card. I was told that they have to explain āall of the timeā to many patrons that the discount will not be honored because of this unwritten/unknown restriction. I pointed out that either all of the customers are wrong and Paniniās is right or maybe itās Paniniās who are wrong for not clearly stating restrictions/requirements. Unfortunately, I was met with indifference and disregard. Anytime that anything has been brought to the attention of staff, including management, nothing has been done. Apparently the customer is not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't really leave reviews much anymore but I feel that this is needed as the average rating does not align at all with my experience.
I stayed in the hotel next door over the weekend and have had visited this location twice.
Visit 1. The brunch menu has avacado toast with eggs. Menu says over easy. The eggs were made sunny side up. When I asked that they finish the eggs as described on the menu, they took them back, flipped and broke them instead of simply finishing over easy. Seems pretty simple but if you're gonna put something on the menu, you should know how to make it that way.
Ordered take out tonight over the phone. Ordered the outlaw burger medium and had a Cobb salad for my friend. Requested bleu chs dressing for the Cobb which we did not receive. Ordered the burger medium and it came medium well as it was rang into the system medium well. The take out order did not have any flatware for the salad either.
I had lived in the area for roughly two years and had never gone to this restaurant. After my experience recently, I am glad I hadn't. Other than out of pure convenience, I would much rather go almost anywhere else nearby.
Be prepared for things to be incorrect, not as described, or otherwise disappointing. The food tastes good. The building is decent and large. Not much else positive to say from my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBrooke, our Server was great, but the food was not so great, not at all. Everything we ordered that required deep-frying came out dripping with grease. The french fries were soggy, probably because of the grease. My burger, the Panini Burger, was dry and tasteless, which is hard to believe with how much of their "special sauce" they put on it. Seriously , there was enough sauce to cover at least three other sandwiches. The sauce seems to be nothing more than mayo with a tiny amount of relish or pickle. It added nothing but sogginess to the un-toasted bun. The shredded lettuce was nothing more than a garnish, and the only flavor detectable on the entire Big-Mac wannabe, was the single slice of tomato, which cost an upcharge $0.59 to be added. I guess my first clue should have been the Raspberry Cooler I ordered, which tasted like a powdered-lime, watered down margarita. It was supposed to made with raspberry vodka, soda, and a spritz of lime juice. I honestly do not believe it had any vodka or lime juice whatsoever, but instead, limed-flavor powder and soda-water. Regardless, there was no Raspberry detectable, and that was the first thing in it's name. With all that said, the menu is mainly filled with fried and unhealthy foods. I would suggest you look elsewhere, even if it's unhealthy food...
