Not saying "do not go", but do not have high expectations...
Rating is for this particular store only. Perhaps it's the location, but this place offers an increasingly sub-par experience.
Orders are frequently incorrect. Iced coffee has grounds in it. Customization options are increasingly more limited.
On many previous occasions, when I could order to the table, they would just leave it on the counter. It took me a few times to realize it wasn't an anomaly.
The second to last time I patronized, there was no way to order to your table from the app. So I ordered pick-up.
I do not need them to bring the food out to me, but I do prefer not to make more trash (especially plastic) if I can help it.
Whether deliberate or not, it seems like they prefer you do not dine in.
I went in yesterday, the place was a mess. Drink area unclean. There was a catering order that completely commandeered the front seating area. I went to the ordering kiosk to try and order dine-in, but they were all shut down.
This imposed more garbage: two bags, two plastic containers (one just plastic lid) two plastic dressing containers, plastic utensils that not only pollute, but the fork couldn't even pierce some of the ingredients in the salad.
The food tasted ok...but the consistent aftertaste was 'dissapointment'.
I know times are tough (labor hard to come by...), truly hope they can...
Read moreWow, I am beyond impressed with the experience I just had with this location! We are visiting the area and staying with family at a camp about 15 minutes away. For an easy breakfast we ordered delivery from Panera through the Panera app but upon delivery we noticed some missing cream cheese tubs that we paid for, so I called them up and explained it was no rush but if there's any they can help get the spread to us I would give another tip or else give us a refund that would be awesome. ( I explained I would rather get a refund and give the workers the money rather then give it to corporate Panera) The girl on the phone was very nice and understanding of the whole situation and assured me they would take care of it one way or another. About 30 minutes later a random vehicle showed up to the campsite we were at and it was a worker from Panera in Gettysburg with the spread we paid for AND and huge family size cheese danish for the inconvenience. I told him that's way beyond my expectations and thanked him for going out of his way for us. He once again said that his whole location took ownership for the mistake and it's the least they could do. I gave him a tip for his troubles anyway and he went on his way.
Corporate Panera bread, please recognize this location for their dedication to...
Read moreI ordered online for drive thru pick-up so I wouldn’t need to take my sleeping child out of the car. My order originally said it would be ready around 6:14 then showed it was running late, then was ready at 6:18. I got in line at 6:19, got to the speaker at 6:21 (there was another car ahead of me at the speaker), and at 6:49, I gave up and had to wake my sleeping child and go in. There was and has been only one car in front of me the entire time and that person was not told to move forward or anything even though my car and the one behind me had “ready” pick-up orders. So now I got cold food since it sat so long while “ready” since I couldn’t get to the window. I spoke to the manager at pick-up who got me my food, and I was only offered that it could be remade all while pointing out how busy they were and how long that would take. So I could either take cold food and reheat it or wait even longer and make everyone else wait longer (and clearly the pick-up area was filled with impatient people who appeared to be waiting for some time, so I wasn’t going to make it worse for...
