Milano Dolce Ice Cream — Restaurant in Strongsville

I asked for a regular ice cream cone, which we received and my child started eating as I paid. I asked about the ONE dollar “waffle cone” surcharge. They insisted that this regular old cake cone was a waffle cone. And that the actual waffle cones in the case were a TWO dollar charge. The audacity to call a cake cone a waffle cone when there is a waffle cone next to it is wild.

Don’t lie about what kind of cone it is, you’re not introducing ice cream to us. We all know the difference between cake cones, sugar cones, and waffle cones. This is just silly nonsense.

Then I stated that customers won’t be happy about this “policy” and they told me they’ve been open a WHOLE week and I’m the first to complain.

I don’t think I’ve ever gone out of my way to leave a negative review in my life. But I do know what a rip off is and this place won’t get my business.

Just ice cream I can get at the grocery store nothing exciting. My first time here my experience was not great! Paid with cash for one scoop and one double scoop cone ice cream . The lady the cashier was not welcoming and when I handed her my money which had a small tear at the end of it because.. oh its paper! Go go figure! She handed it back to me and said oh no you need got another one. When I said no it still spends its not like the bill was tore in half . I was really looking forward to trying this ice cream shop, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I politely asked for a glass of water, and the owner responded in a rude and dismissive manner, which made me feel very unwelcome. What made it even worse was that she openly discussed the situation with the next customer in line, which was not only unprofessional but also incredibly upsetting. Customer service is an important part of any business, and I was shocked by the lack of basic courtesy. I hope this was just an off day, but it left a bad impression. I won’t be returning...
