Ruby Thai — Restaurant in Strongsville

The 2 Stars I'm giving this place are only because of how nice, sweet, and caring the people are taking your order. I've been coming here for years and I've seen this place change between many owners. I have typically always gotten the same order. Fried rice and tofu in a small container. Ever since there has been a new cook and owner things have drastically changed against me. Today I was informed that I can no longer get tofu in a smaller container. No reason was given. But I heard the cook in the back shouting at the girls up front that I was no longer allowed to do this. The only reason I could come up with is that he was annoyed with it somehow. Papa, the previous cook, was always nice and happily made me tofu. They also decided to add egg to the fried rice which means I can no longer get that either. So it looks like I really have no reason to come to this place anymore although I used to come here daily as I work in the mall. This really breaks my heart because it is one of the only places in the food court that I am able to get food for myself that I am able to eat. As well it feels like I am betraying the people there as I've become friends and care about the workers behind the counters. Grabed a quick bite to eat while out shopping. Orderd the mango chicken with veggies and rice, my husband got the same but with noodles. The chicken wasn't even chicken, it was all breading, the veggies had a very sour taste kind of like vinegar and the rice was hard and cold and the lemonade tasted like powdered drink mix. Took it back and yes they offered me different food but I just said no thank you, The women then told me they order the food and that is how it comes and she could not refund me my money because then they would not make any money, What? I said well, that is very poor customer service and she then tells.me something about recycling my food...??? Just an over all bad...

Basic. 1 tsp of cheese in room temp rangoons. Too much vinegar in the sauces and chicken it’s been 3 hours and still can’t get the taste out of my mouth. Mango chicken was good the bang bang was ok as a sample but should’ve went with just the mango. Mixed vegetables were crunchy. I ordered a combo3, rangoons and a drink was charged $22 my sister got 2 combo3, 2 egg rolls and a drink for $30… didn’t get a receipt and didn’t feel like begging for a to go bag.
