I LOVE Buca and was a frequent diner at the Westlake restaurant. We have been to the Southpark location a few times since they closed and while service is slow it has been good. I got a email offering me a discount to come back for the holiday weekend...My to go order was supoosed to be ready at 7:17 pm. I got there at 7:15 waited 5 minutes or so before anyone even greeted me. A waitress kept running back and forth between the dining room and the kitchen - no greeting. A bar tender came by - again no greeting. Another woman came by and I said Hi thinking maybe she'd greet me...she said Hi and ran out to the parking lot and when she came back in I realized she was a customer. A younger blond haired girl finally greeted me...saw my order slip amd said "Oh they're just finishing up the pizza it'll be up in a few minute". A guy wesring a browns hat then came up behind me picking up 2 door dash orders. Their orders were not ready yet either amd he sat on the bench watching videos. At about the 18 minute mark a woman with dark brown hair asked to pick up her order and the hostess said they were just taking something out of the oven it would be just a few minutes. Another older blond woman came in and the hostess had to get a managers card after a few minutes. Finally at 7:44 pm my food was out. I was STARVING. I opened my pizza in the parking lot and it was burnt and LUKE WARM. My husband opened up his calamari and it was COLD, rubbery, and TOUGH. I walked back in and waited 3 minutes for the hostess where I explained that if I am waiting almost 30 minutes for my food - there's no reason why I SHOULD received old and cold food and told her that there was no way I was waiting for them to remake the food and that I wanted to have my $29.99 back. The hostess then told me there was nothing she could and apologized on behalf of the restaurant and asked if I would like to speak with a manager. The manager after reexplaining the scenario and when my husband pulled on the calamari and it wouldn't break apart, apologized. She asked if I would like the food remade and if I had all day, I would have loved to but I needed to be home to my family. The manager then couldn't find my order and then realized that I ordered online. She went to find and see if the hostess closed out my order because otherwise it was going to get complicated. She came back and said yes my order had been closed out. She asked if she could offer to put my name on the recovery log and offer me a replacement calamari, pizza, and a desert the next time I come in. My husband liked the idea until he realized that was instead of my credit card being refunded in which then she offered to give me a gift card back instead of my money back. I told her I didn't want to pay my credit card for a future dinner. She then said she would have to take my information and order down and it would take 7-10 days to process my refund. She said she would email her manager to process my refund tonight. So I left without food and without knowing whether I will actually be refunded ☹ I'm SO disappointed 😞 😔 because I LOVE Buca di Beppo and was SO hungry for a good margarita pizza. I had NO INTENTION of ordering and waiting for food and then having to go HOME...

My husband and I decided to try out Boca di Beppo on Monday, February 5th, hoping for a new culinary experience. Unfortunately, our visit left much to be desired.
Upon arrival, we were taken aback when the host led us through the kitchen to our table. This was both unexpected and unprofessional, as it disrupted the ambiance and made us feel uncomfortable. Additionally, we were seated in the very back of the restaurant, which seemed unnecessary considering there were plenty of other available tables closer to the front.
While our server, Gregoria, was pleasant and attentive, the food itself was NOT disappointing. she over charged for our meal but made the change once I brought to her attention.
What struck us the most, however, was the feeling that we were treated differently because of our race. The host's decision to lead us through the kitchen and seat us in a remote corner of the restaurant raised concerns and left us questioning whether our experience was influenced by racial bias.
As patrons who value diversity and inclusion, we were deeply disappointed by this experience. We hope that Boca di Beppo takes our feedback seriously and implements measures to ensure that all guests are treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their race or ethnicity.
Overall, our visit fell short of our expectations, and we are unlikely to return or recommend Boca di Beppo to others until these issues...
Read moreFirst of all I have always loved this place, hadn't been there in a few years, so told my friend about this place and how great it was. Omg I don't know what happened to the food! I love the spaghetti with a meatball (which I got), my friend got the chicken parm. He got 3 huge pieces of breaded chicken - that's it! It came with no sauce, no cheese, and no pasta underneath it!? My sauce had no flavor and the meatball was terrible, it almost tasted like it was ready to spoil! I was So Disappointed, I have never had a bad experience eating here, I took home the leftovers thinking maybe it would taste better the next day, unfortunately it did not, had to throw it all away (alot of food) The server was nice, our bill was over $100, had wine, no problem with the price, the problem was the food, should have said something at the time, but after coming home I was just so disappointed and let it go for a few weeks, I don't usually write bad reviews, but just couldn't believe how awful the food was, especially since this was one of my favorite places to eat Spaghetti, I hope this was just a one time bad experience, kind of leery to go back because of the price (You do get alot of food) and if the food is going to be bad. I really hope the recipe hasn't changed, but something was wrong that night, it was 3 weeks ago on a Saturday night. Just curious, is that how you serve Chicken Parm? Just ...
