My husband and I attended a charity event with a raffle. One of the items was listed as a 3 bundtlet tower with an additional 12 bundtlets. We bid, thinking the bundlets would make good holiday gifts for the folks in his office. To our surprise, we won that item. Once we got home, further examination revealed the additional bundtlets had to be picked up from a specific store, which was an 90 minute trip from our home. No problem - I could make that drive once. However, the fine print further specified one per month. That was not doable for us. I called the store and explained the situation. I asked if we could maybe just get 6 or 8 all at once and let the remaining cakes go. They said the most they could do was two at once - that the only reason they provide such donations to charity raffles is to “guarantee” someone comes in once a month, for a year. I understand their position. But good word of mouth is also good publicity. Not only will I not be collecting any of the 12 bundtlets, I will be suggesting folks get their sweet treats elsewhere. Read moreI have been ordering from here since it opened and have now started ordering very large quantities for employees at work. Sometimes even 170 at a time. I just made a purchase for some towers total was around $500 for Christmas gifts. I am part of the club and get my cards punched. They did punch my card and they have always let me get all my free cakes at the same time but the manager was rude to me and said this is the holiday and we won’t honor that. This is poor customer service as I spent $500 just only at this store, $800 in New Jersey, and another $750 in pa. Then to top it off I get to fedex to overnight them to 15 of my medical centers and I am missing 6 towers. I called and they did drive them to me as I drove 30 minutes to buy them and it was the manager that was rude at the store. Even the Fedex lady said she was rude and not apologetic for their error which made me sit during my shortened work due to holiday for about an hour. Had the confirmation email, along with the transaction on my credit card. The following day I had an order placed for 1 dozen bundtinis to be delivered to a friend. I specifically put on the special instructions to call me if no one answered the door, and provided my phone number. I never received a call, however received a text message saying they were left at the door step? I put this instruction so I could have someone come grab them if no one was home.
